Petite properties on Penwithers 

Thanks for taking the time to make these two videos. My husband and I saw Petit Properties at Warley at the end of last year, and he gave me a kit for Christmas. So finding this video has given me some extra ideas. Love the technique and it looks realistic :)

Looks a great little kit. Must say that must take ages doing each of those bricks! Reminds me of when I did the cobbles on Compton Quay! Looking forward to seeing more progress on it. Great work and thanks for sharing.

Saw these at Peterborough Show last year, Kevin. I was most impressed and am now designing my layout with these in mind. Nice to see the methods you use and this has cemented my thoughts in how best to use them. Great stuff - now on to part two!

Nice one Kevin. I saw a guy doing something similar at an exhibition in York a couple of years ago, but I seem to remember he used some sort of modelling clay and it looked a lot harder to scratch away the profile of the stones. I`ll be pleased to see it painted up. Once again nice vid. Cheers Ted

Must be really relaxing scribing - Good tip to come away from the edge when scribing too. Must admit I found myself distracted by the paper lol. At least it wasn't pg3 lol. Laurie.
