hey i just got this exact same liter box. i understood about that 3d printed parts after my cats first usage! is it possible i can get the 3d print design? was going to ask a friend to print it for me as well. let me know if it's possible!

I had one of these. When they work, they're nice. The major designflaw with it however is the tiny Philips head screws they use to attach the rubber map. There will get litter trapped under there mixed with urine. It's a pain to get that rubber mat out and back in.

Would you could consider this atill good enough to use ? I have a litter robot 3 and the thing has been horrendouns . Something broke in the hood . The pinch sensors and board needed replaced twice . My tybber mat has a hole in it and its 80 pounds to replace ! And now it wont work at all . Bad position sensor i think ..ive very little monej atm but am in need desperately as ive a cat wifh urinary issues and another that will go outside the box if its not always clean . Ive found a tonepie for 200 pound then 40 pound import costs but its still a lot of money to throw away

Many thanks for your review! So happy with this automatic litter! Really life changing! I have three cats and I was cleaning the regular litter many times a day. Now I change the bag once a week and give it a deep wash twice a week. I'm having big issues with the gap though: as you pointed out a lot of the urine and sand goes underneath and smell. Also I have to disarm the machine often to clean it, which is a lot of work. I can't understand why they designed it this way! I'm really hoping there is a way to buy that amazing latch you printed. I really need it! Please please let me know!

Hi there Thanks for the video! I bought this same litter box But I noticed when it cleans itself it kind of fills the bag with good litter not just clumped litter and it fills out so fast I put the waste bin calibration 1 and leveling to 3 in the app Any ideas??

By the way I have done some searching and found the Tonepie T1 Pro and seems to be the same but with different name right?

Would you be able to maybe share the metrics/design/dimensions for the piece of plastic plate you 3D printed? I watched your video and am going to get one. is Tonepie the same box? We don't have this in Brazil, I'd like to import it from China, but they just have Tonepie, is it worth?

I have a CatGenie which I love, as it actually washes and deodorizes the box each time it’s used. Unfortunately, one of my cats is freaked out by the noise it makes when the cleaning starts (it isn’t quiet) and won’t use it so I’m in the market for an alternative.

I have this litterbox since three weeks, one thing I don't like about this litterbox is the issue of old litter spilling out when the device rotates downward. This leads to an unpleasant odor, which is quite bothersome. To improve this situation, it would be ideal if the lid remained closed while the box is rotating downward, only opening when the device moves in an upward direction.

Heb 'm ook sinds gisteren, met 2 katten die regelmatig tot veel drinken was het haast niet bij te houden de normale plastic kattenbak verschonen. Ik begon er zo verschrikkelijk tegen op te zien om het meerdere keren per dag te verschonen. En als ik een keer oversla, dan begint het al gauw te ruiken.. Ik koop om de 2 dgn een doos kattenbakvulling van de aldi. Die fijn ik toch het fijnst. Loopt aardig in de kosten op zo. Hopelijk kan dit ook nu ingedamd worden...

Hi. I unplugged mine and changed it’s location. When I plugged it back in and it started the cycle, it dumps all the litter in the garbage bag and stops. Might you have any suggestions as to what I might do to get it working again? Thank you.

Can you use tofu ( soya ) clumping litter?

After looking through many of the automated litterboxes I never felt really positive going for one. But I want to give that one a try. Also I’ll draw such a lip for the entrance. It’s very clear that’s a weak point. Sad it’s not a buyable add-on. - so, when that works out my cat will get an accompagnion.

My cat unplugged it while it was rotating now when it rotates to clean it will rotate and then collect the poop and then rotate back and drop the poop back where the litter is, after it has dropped the poop it will go back to put it in the bin but there is no poop because it already dropped back into the litter i don’t know how to fix this. How to factory reset??

I have one of these. It works OK, but… For some reason cat urine finds its way to under the tumbler (main cylinder) that requires lifting the cylinder and wiping it clean. There are no visible evidences of a leak, and no the cat is not peeing outside. Anyone else have this issue?

I can’t find the app related to Tonepie for iOS

This litter box sucks and I just returned it after 3 days. There's a gap at the bottom of the entry hole between the drum and the base, litter falls into it and cats urinate at the edge. The urine goes into the gap and down into the base and forms a pool underneath the drum. Also, the litter goes all over the place inside and outside the drum when it rotates. It collects in the holes and hinge inside the waste door. To add to the fun, when you try to empty the litter, only half of it is emptied and there's no way to completely empty it without tipping the drum around and getting litter all over the place. Absolute garbage at any price.

Please, would you kindly point me in the direction of where I can purchase a gap guard for this box? We're in a desperate search for the attachment you made and we're also completely clueless about how to even find someone (reliable) to 3d print. I only found your video through my search for this attachment. I'd probably have more success being dropped blindfolded into a place where I know none of the language than I would have trying to navigate the world of Discord, so I really need to find a place to get this attachment pre-made. I did find something similar to what Litter Robot calls a "gate" but one of the main reasons we selected this automatic box is ease of entry for our old babies. Yours is PERFECT! One of our old babies has decided that she will only use a freshly cleaned box, so we have no choice but to use an automatic box now. We can't afford the Litter Robot 4, which is our only other option for our cats' size and mobility, so we have this one and I thought I'd figured out a DIY way to deal with the gap issue, but I was wrong. Ours is a Famree brand, but I've researched this to death and the one you show here is also branded as: PETKO, Tonepie, Comfipaws, PETCADO, and under 3 other generic names on Amazon. On AliExpress, it's just the "Smart Cat Litter Box." Thanks for such a thorough review!

I change the bag every 5/6 day with 1 car no way you can do that with 2 cats. Shit falls out the bag once the bag is half full. Your also right about the litter under the machine,, really annoying. For the price of 500 euros is to much,, looks like they did not experience enough .. 5/10 rating

Tonepie automatic cat litter is difficult to clean, no door so the litter is everywhere, as well as very fragile my cat made a hole in its rubber bottom where u put the litter, and it’s unfixable, and I cannot replace the bottom or any spare parts, so I don’t recommend TONEPIE automatic cat litter

Put every automated box out there you have to take the litter out yourself. I’ve got a litter robot three it stopped working properly but it’s such a pain in the ass to take that bag out and I paid almost $700 for that thing years ago but you are going to have a bunch of people out there one in that they have to change the litter that it supposed to be automatic because they’re just whiners like that.

So the poop is gonna roll around all the inside. ewww, and the cleaning oufff.
