Yan got the fresh cut, probably his first ever line up. His confidence must be through the roof 😂 You know they aren’t serving out fresh fades in the middle of Siberia hahah
Its going to be hard to be as eloquent as he is in Russian, in English. The translator is doing a good job, but missing out on many great things he is saying, just because its impossible to translate. Russian has more ways to express yourself than English. Russian trash talking is like Mozart, English trash talking is like Friday - Rebecca Black.
Petr is such a killer and an elite striker, most mma casuals don't understand how good he is until he starts dismantling opponents with only his footwork.
By the next fight or two his English will be fine. He’s actually very good at understanding, he doesn’t wait for things to be translated a lot and his English didn’t sound too bad. It’s always the dudes that can knock your head off with a finger that are shy about the smallest things 😂😂
top comment on jans interview said he looks like a warlord lol, well petr yan looks like the type of guy to collect scalps for his warlord lol edit. if anyone seeing this after the fight it still holds up lmfao, he will win it back after the chump master grows a pair
Fun fact he’s quarter Chinese his mother is Half Chinese. I knew I could tell he looked like he had some mix, especially since he’s from Siberia they tend to be mixed with Chinese or Korean.
He ain't taking s**t from no one. Misunderstanding between him and Arlovsky leads to a face off. Arlovsky said when he approach and confronts Yan, dude drop his bag and starts walking to a street. Didn't even care that he will fight heavy weight
Misunderstanding happened before Faber fight. Later in their interviews they were taking shots at each other. During this camp at ATT Arlovsky approached Yan to clear things up. But Yan thought there is a confrontation, drop his bag and starts walking outside
@@Harry-mb4zm that's bullsh as well. Everyone who has been following his story knows that. But at the same time I'm glad that he still has a lot to prove and to show you, casuals. Tune in and don't blink
@@grubost it's nice to see the casual mma community like yourself has taken a liking to yan and wanna defend him I look forward to watch aljo display his elite level grappling this weekend hope you enjoy the fights ☺️
🤣🤣🤣 cool to see Pter nodding and understanding the questions. I don’t mind fighters not speaking English to be honest but that’s the market so go for it champ. Yan vs Aljaimain has fight of the night written all over it.
Great interview I didn’t know much about Petr and now I got learn a little bit of his background about him and also see what kind of personality he has! This was great!
Guys I swear I’ve seen many vids on 95% fighters and media picking Sterling in that fight. Of course everything can happen that’s for sure, but when 95% of people picking against you and you are just not that hyped kinda it shows the lack of knowledge of media and fighters. You guys better go watch two very interesting fights of Yan versus dagestani Tiger Magomedov, it will show you that he doesn’t concern much on wrestling, he is comfortable with it. I mean it’s a great sport we watching. Hope you all enjoy that fight night regardless outcome.
@@78ramcharger53 When tf has Aljo knocked anyone out ? 🤣 gtfoh casual, you think Aljo has a chance to out strike Cody? Cody will KO flat like Marlon did, Cody is too fast for Aljo and hits too hard for his chin to handle.
1:40 Ariel, don't be mad on Petr ahaha we are sure that's he is appreciate your call and your good questions! Was enjoying watch it and can't wait when Petr will start talk by English
Petr is actually a very funny guy with an interesting background and he has a lot of stories to tell. I can't really get why he prefers staying all business in his english interviews and not even trying to open up.
Well tj was the undisputed champ before the ped affair , i think yan want to prove he is better than the former undisputed bantamweight champ Who never lost as a champion. Also Bigger name value i believe
Not at all. Sandhagen needs 1 more win. And like it or not, TJ was champion prior to being stripped. He never lost the belt in ring. Yan is looking to be undisputed.
@Based Med Petr is still a fan of Dillashaw, he said that he watched his fights when he was at the beginning of his journey, and that he was interesting to him as a fighter, it was like beating his idol and money too ofc
I despise Ariel, only reason i watch him is for DC. But this was a fantastic interview. I think Ariel became an actual fan half way through this interview and was enjoying himself. I am glad he gave Yan props and encouraged him to speak english. This was trully one of Ariel's best interviews. Get on that Petr Yan train because you are witnessing not just the greatest bantamweight in history but he has the potential to go down in weight and then go up in weight and become the first triple weight champ. Yan by murder in this fight.

He’s like a new person when he speaks English, bc in Russian it’s like he has no emotion. I hate that Cory won’t get a shot after Aljo if he wins but who knows what happens maybe tj will get popped again cus Cory deserves the shot 🤦🏿♂️
His none verbal communication amuses me when he smirks at stuff . Sooner he speaks fluent English the better glad this done in Russian tho so nothing lost in translation
I have Aljamain by 1st round submission. If Aljamain doesn't get the win, I don't see Petr losing anytime soon. Especially since Dillashaw wants a title shot next after being out over 2 years. Octagon rust is real, no matter what Cruz says lol
