Petrol Pump Scam 🤯🤯 || bekifaayati #shorts #youtubeshorts #youtubepartner
This is the most common and widely experienced fraud which can be done quite easily if you are not alert. Here is how it happens.
So you ask for petrol for ₹700, the attendant asks you to check the meter at ZERO and then starts filling the petrol and stops at ₹200. When you ask him why they stopped at ₹200, the attendant tells you that they heard ₹200 only. Then they proceed to reset and fill another ₹500 (will give some crap technical reason why they can’t continue from that same point).
At this point someone from the team distracts you while the attendant starts filling from ₹200 onwards itself, when you think that they had reset the meter back to ZERO. Then they go till ₹500 and charge you ₹700 (₹200 + ₹500). You get petrol worth ₹500 only, but end up paying ₹700.

This is the most common and widely experienced fraud which can be done quite easily if you are not alert. Here is how it happens. Always ask the vendor to put the fuel in liters and try to pay via UPI 1. Paying through UPI would give some cash back or credits ( At least some) 2. There are less chances of machine adulteration 3. U will get to know the mileage

@bigyourboiii The man at the petrol station kept holding the dispenser while entering the amount. Due to this, the machine was neither resetting nor was the entered amount got entered for real. Due to this, the machine was about to run from the point where it was left during the previous delivery. The vehicle before mine asked for petrol worth Rs. 200. I wanted to get my vehicle filled with petrol worth Rs.2000, but due to this scam, the dispenser guy filled my vehicle with Rs. 1800 only. Thank God, our driver took a look at this situation very carefully and told me about it. In a moment, he got up and confronted him. He didn't even ask a question and returned 200 in absolute haste. The key here was CONFRONTATION. INTERVENTION is the only thing a person can do to get out of this situation.

2 things we can do 1st be attentive while filling tank . 2nd before filling ask attendant that you need receipt ( pump machine generated receipt). By this he can't play the trick.. 90% people don't ask for receipt, so from next time ask for receipt.

When he said this I remembered your reel about this and he did same he was saying ₹1000 petrol now and ₹100 old one. I’m a petrol pump owner, and this doesn’t happens. Most of the modern machines have lock system, once price/amount has been set, it will pour the right amount. Not to say that now petrol pumps are monitored 24x7 by the company. If in doubt you can always ask the attendant to show the data from computer or just ask for the automated printed bill. Although as a consumer you need to be aware also, because attendants can play their game. I’ll suggest to buy fuel from with Indian Oil or Nayara Energy. I own both of those fuel stations, and you can always trust Indian Oil for sure.

One fellow did this with me once. I was lucky I caught him. I asked him for petrol worth Rs1000. He had filled Rs 500 worth petrol in a bike and continued filling in my car without resetting to zero. When I told him that I saw him do this, another employee came and filled the correct amount.
