@PetzlSportVideos is coming out with an updated version of the popular Boreo helmet. This new Boreo will incorporate a full foam/ABS construction providing the top and side protection Petzl has been pushing into their other helmets. This internal certification helps ensure that a climbing helmet can absorb some of the impact on the sides of the helmet and not only the top. The new Boreo also gets an updated vent layout as well as a rear elastic cord for securing a headlamp or even goggles. There have also been some minor adjustments to the harness design to make the helmet easier to fit for those of us who have head shapes that fall outside the norm.
The new Boreo is anticipated to see a Spring 2023 release.
