I got my first zigzag a few months ago and immediately fell in love with it. It is superb! I was so impressed I wanted to get the zillion to replace my pinto pulley and prussic lanyard grrab but I don't want the whole lanyard system. I keep hoping petzl will reconsider and start offering the mechanism by itself. Not holding my breath, though.

If u remember right you said it was 28” i’m just trying to get an idea how specific their measurements are some companies are a little bit slack when it comes to this that way I can better decide what size I wanna order.

So, center of eye to center of eye on the sterling rit, was 27”. Outside tip of the eye to outside tip of the other eye was exactly 28”. Hope that helps you out.
