Changing the abs pump modulator to restore abs, power steering, speedo and depolution system to working order.
Only do this is you have no communication with the unit, and you've checked the relays, fuses, 12v feed etc 1st (list in the video). Get the exact same part number pump (sticker on motor housing) because your ecu is set to expect that specific one, this way you do not need to do any coding. There are several pumps used on these cars so make sure you get the right one!

Hi, no hadn't yet but it is dead simple to do on your own if you get the Brake bleeding kit with the non return valve (about £4), locate the bleed valves on each calliper (they have the little black rubber cap on and start furthest from the pump (drivers rear). You just need to open the resovoir cap, undo your 1st bleed valve connect the bleeding kit and dump it's nr valve into a jar of fluid then pump the brake with the booster off until you see those air bubbles coming out the system, close your bleed valve, top up the fluid resovoir, then same process on pass rear wheel, driver front wheel and finally pass front wheel. Sometimes you gotta go round again to clear all the air, but that's beneficial anyway as you're drawing more new fluid into the system. If you think it'd help I could get some pics and do a mini video, please just let me know, otherwise you should be able to follow any car brake bleed video once you locate the 207s bleed valves. It's totally a job you can easily do at home!

Yes, it's in a small plastic box, (size of a tape measure) screwed to the bulkhead just above negative battery terminal and to the side of the booster. Hope that helps? 😀

No coding if you use the exact same part number pump, the settings in main ecu are correct for that pump. You only need code it if you install a different model pump. Just make sure you get the same exact model and you'll have no problems at all! 😀

Yes, there's usually a sticker on the motor housing with a bar code and 10 digit number. That's what you're after. Sometimes it's etched on the plastic panel at the back too. Search that 10 digit on ebay or wherever your sourcing one to make sure you get the right one!
