Today I find out if the Peugeot 208 is a worthy contender against the much loved VW Polo? This should be interesting. Check out my socials for more entertaining content: Instagram: / thecarscene_ TikTok: / thecarscene_
I’m like a kid at Christmas Eve at the minute.. I’m waitin for my first car - I passed my test in Nov (first time) ! I’ve gone for the 208GT - BLACK. It’s at the dealership right now! I’m just finalising some adaptations as I’m a wheelchair user.. that needs hand controls. I’ve sat in the car at a convention and it right what you say.. it does make you feel special! As soon as I sat in it an closed the doors, I KNEW it was the car for me! 🤩‼️
The 208 is definitely a beautiful car with a very bold new look. If it wasn't out of my price range I would love to get one. My only concern is their after-sales reputation has me a tad spooked.
Got a 208 GT (that has many differences from the allure) almost full optional for about €20.000 and I'm as happy as I could be, what an amazing little car
@@Rookshana.Takolia786 but if parts are readily available and technicians that are knowledgeable, it gives you peace of mind. If Peugeot had a car plant in SA, they'd dominate sales.
@@lesediseemela9856 So who says Peugeout's parts aren't readily available? I've seen so many of the so called 'quality' German cars on an AA flatbed. Don't fall for media hype without proper research. Furthermore, from an insurance and secueity perspective, the Peugeout is less likely to be hijacked or stolen. Thank you.
@@Rookshana.Takolia786 Don't get emotional here chief. I have done my research, not only on reviews but from actual owners of various from this model. It is not your family's brand, for you to feel the need to defend it the way you're. No one said the German brands are flawless, there's no perfect car. But they're miles ahead of Peugeot based on the convenience they offer.
@@lesediseemela9856 You obviously aren't emotionally intelligent enough to know that having a debate is healthy without resorting to call people emotional when they point out facts that seem to irritate you. It seems that you are the one who is too emotionally attached to one particular vehicle brand. For your information, I don't even drive a Peugeot. I just appreciate the finer things and have a taste for style, beauty and aesthetics. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day. Bye.
