Hi, really congratulations, a beautiful video, I watched it all from start to finish and you didn't miss a single detail about the car. I must say that the acceleration test from 0 to 100 is not bad, really good, even on the motorway it seems to go very well and without difficulty. I can't wait for my 100 hp 208 GT Hybrid to arrive.

I was wondering if you have had any issues with the battery whilst using the AC. My wife’s hybrid is constantly at zero battery level. If she turns everything off then the battery charges as normal. Peugeot doesn’t seem to have an answer, and the dealer can’t help either.

Not on my test no.

I would presume that the AC and other accessories runs off of the 12V battery mostly as opposed to the 48V battery used for driving. So I'd say get someone to test the 12V battery first.

@@orio_3 That is what you would expect to happen as a petrol car would have to use the 12v battery. According to the dealer though who contacted Peugeot apparently, the 48v battery is the default for AC as well as other things. My wife now blames me for letting her buy it as I should have known the inner workings of a hybrid engine. The dealer said that it will run like a normal petrol engine anyway, and that’s what she initially wanted anyway. That wasn’t the answer she wanted. At least I get to see her sweat in the car because she won’t switch on the AC.

@dsneds555 oh fair enough, is she just not saving energy enough by being off throttle etc?

With my 2.0l mild hybrid Mazda I get 4.5l-5l on highway at speeds of 120kph-130kpn, and max 6.5l in the city with heavy traffic and lots of stop lights. In city i never get aboce 6.5. Theis peugeot isn't really economical.

The powertrain was too small for highway cruises

@hughzadora3706 1.0l 1.2l engines is a joke. I don't understand how people can pay huge amount of money to buy cars with weak 3 cylinder 1.0l engines.

@@ampm9771Yeah you’re right. Maybe this type of car only for citywide drivers.

@hughzadora3706 City or Highway, I've seen 1.0 engines in heavy cars such as Skoda Kodiak, VW golf...etc
