There is another type of connector (see part no 1351 V5), which is easier to connect/disconnect. If it fits your model that is, and it also needs a matching radiator.
Definitely a learning curve for me. Basically you have to change the pipe and radiator at the same time. Made the job bigger than it should have been.🙄🙄
Thanks for the tip, I own an 02 1.6 which requires new rad and I will change that bottom hose which has that same fitting 😠 , where did you order your new hose from ?
