Thanks to you, "pig of a job" has been redefined to mean "very simple indeed"... Working my way through a C3 Picasso jigsaw puzzle and you've been so helpful along the way. Also... not related to this particular video, but I almost died laughing and will never refer to impact guns as anything but ugga guggas from now on Thanks from Scotland! 🛠️🐷
@@PiggyPower I am going to do the job tomorrow. There is no way to get a grinder in to the rivets without separating the ball joint first! So just a case of dropping out the stud on the balljoint and maybe securing the control arm at a lower level using a long pry bar? Should work OK 👃
you make this look soo easy, wached it many times to learn but fk i hate doing lower ball joints on my 208. done it many of times as the morons at euro car parts give me the wront ones the 63.5mm lenth ones over the 75mm lenth ones. NGL ive run the shorter ones for 300 miles and the only issue is when on full lock there is a clunck, i presume its the ball joint clicking up in the hub or the car is totaly fked 😂😂. btw only done it as a last dich effort as i need the vehicle for work e.g the car is my job. also amazing video
It's practice..👍 A wrong balljoint like that may well put strain on the driveshaft and CV joints... Could bind them up entirely= crash! Be cautious. ECP often give many options for the same part, you have to be sure before you make a choice. Stay safe 👌🐷💪
Piggy Power I’ve made sure I’ve orders the 75mm length and they still give me the sorted ones ordering some from TMs and others to try and get the right ones
Hello i have same joint i change but over big bumps i can hear clunking i change it again and after 3 days again can u give me some idea what can be wrong , and that one bolt that goes to joint going in very Easy can be that problem
Good vid Piggy, i did pull out my driveshaft though resulting in a gooey mess! p.s do you know how to get a DS3 wishbone bolt in as the dam driveshaft is in the way hence my gooey mess trying!!
Yeah, 206 is the same. Once removed, often we flip it. So it's nut on the top and bolt go in from underneath. If you need to remove it... Disconnect the lower engine mount and lever the engine/gearbox away to get the bolt out 👍🐷💪
Hi sir , i owned 206 , usually when am push the brake and turn the steering wheel right or left (when i park the car for example or leaving the park) sound like a something broken been heard , kindly i need the info to solve the issue , so do you think that sound because of the failer ball joint ?
