Hey everyone in this video we are preparing the Peugeot 307 for a MOT Test , apart from checking suspension , tyres , brakes and other components that are tested at the MOT centre, we will look into Three very obvious problems Rear Wiper not working, horn not working and offside front indicator not working ...
Did I manage to get everything ready in time for the MOT test and probably the most important question Did it Passed or Failed ?

Great video. I had a problem with the rear wiper on my cotroen Xsara Picasso. A common problem on them seems to be the parking switch getting fouled up with dirt and water off the road. Very poor seal on the wiper arm spindle. I managed to clean it up by slackening the pins off on the wiper casing and flushing it out with switch cleaner lubricant and WD 40. Not ideal but it started parking where it should and didn’t switch on every time I unlocked the car. These motors are a very poor design with no seal on the wiper arm spindle allowing water to get into the motor gearbox. I have wrapped some insulation tape around the spindle to try to slow down water getting into the mechanism. I have a new motor for when this motor finally fails. Don’t we just love french electrics 😊

Thanks mate ... yeah this one was pretty much a goner I like to try to repair components makes me feel good for the environment and pocket ££😊... I was lucky to find this second hand one for £14,40 from my local breaker 👍👍👍 cheers

French cars and there rusty Connectors i know all about that one.The rear wiper is not tested on the M.o.t i thought

Yeah this one was pretty bad with water/salt etc intrusion ... if the wiper is fitted and not working they fail it even tho being the rear 👍👍👍

I recently see service engine soon on my mini Cooper s automatic transmission engine and i take it to AutoZone to check for me because I recently service the car,I changed engine oil,oil filter,spark plugs and all the spark plug cable. When they check they print out some problem 1,PO303 CYLINDER 3 MISFIRE DETECTED 2,PO128 COOLANT THERMOSTAT(coolant temperature below thermostat regulating temperature). And I recently changed the thermostat and temperature switch,please what do I do know

@@omoyorubaworkshop it’s hard to pin point exactly without testing but the cylinder misfire it can only be wiring issue , coil or ECU ... now the coolant temp below thermostat regulating temperature it’s a strange one I never seen it before sorry , I would look into the live data to see what temperature the sensor is reporting and start from there 👍

Yeah I thought that aswell ... the coolant was mostly water but clean but the coolant reservoir looked quite stained will see how it goes still operating as it should 👍👍👍
