Peugeot 504 answers on questions. 

Charles, I have a 1976 peugeot 404, fitted with a 504 1.8 engine with a Solex carburettor and a Paris-Rhone distributor, fitted with electronic ignition. The vehicle was imported to Ireland from South Africa some years ago, and the ignition unit seems to have failed. As far as I can find out, the Paris-Rhone distributor was never fitted to Uk or Irish vehicles, (Ducellier, Bosch or SEV) and I'm having difficulty sourcing any parts for it.....................do you know if there's anywhere in SA that might have parts? Thanks Charles for your explanations, I use a 504 gld, I see that you don't use the coolant expansion tank in your models, could you explain that.
