Original air date: November 6, 1967 on ABC. Norm lies to Michael about his injuries.......Betty & Rod plan a skiing trip, although she's begun to doubt Adrienne's allegations.....
Thiis was a fun episode, I don't love Eddie, but having "Leslie and Martin" aim "Eddie and Webber" at each other is great fun. Two scammers scamming each other at the same time. I've warmed up to Webber, he was harder to take when dealing with his strange brother a year ago. Glad they kept Stephen Oliver around
Lee Webber finally met someone who treats him well. Someone he believes likes him and trusts him. It has served to calm Lee's bad-boy persona. He truly cares about Mr. Peyton and would do anything for him.
Rod was right, this wasn’t just about Adrienne. If Betty was in love with Steven, she would have given him the benefit of the doubt, instead of believing basically a stranger. Betty is just going through the motions of hurting because of a failed marriage. As long as she can have Rod, she’s happy but doesn’t want it to appear obvious.
Wow, "Kiss me goodnight Rodney" :) but then Betty always liked and will like Rodney, she is just having hard time to trust him again and start relationship with him when divorce is not over, now Betty is little confused, he pushed Betty to marry Steven when he was hooked on alison and she has been living with him since, now he expects her to switch her feelings so fast Besides Rodney needs little spice, always everything went too smoothly with Betty, now it is not so smooth and he has to work harder to get back to her
When Rodney told Betty to marry Steven he had been convicted of murder and thought he would be going to prison for several years. He and Betty have always had feelings for each other.
Why, because she finally realized that Steven cares more about destroying Martin Peyton than he does about their marriage? Adrienne wasn't the whole problem. She begged Steven several times to leave that house, to even leave Peyton Place and start somewhere else. Steven refused every time. His ridiculous stunt trying to have Mr. Peyton declared incompetent was foolhardy. He was humiliated, as he should have been. Steven is no longer the man she married and she's right to leave him.
@@suki44883 PLUS he humiliated her in front of an influential crowd of people and he's always muscling her around, grabbing her pushing her and blocking her and even in this episode he was shoving Adrienne around. He's just become so sadistic and mean. Bitter.
