3:29 Whoa! so epic! You captured so well the stuff only an experienced climber witnesses. Best Pfanner man vid by far and man. . .no doubt one of the greatest tree-wrecking-action vids I've ever seen. I'm blown away. Left me with three main feelings. . . no four: 1. I want to watch it again. 2. I love making tree vids. 3. I'm proud to know Pfanner man. 4. I hope you and Bixler don't get hurt rigging huge pieces. 5. The best videos take a ruthless eye for editing things down to only the best of the best clips. 6. Your future is blindingly legendary. 7. I'm glad they pissed you off. 8. I gotta watch it again and. . .9. I suck at math.
an honor coming from the master & this is my 1st vid aftr attending Hunicke film academy, I learned a lot ;) me & Bix will be ok as long as we have the right mix of Oak & Euc man in our guts, force distribution principals in our brains & Pfanner lids on our heads
3:29 as I yell to my son, HEY you gotta let that run a little more than that!!!!! Nice vid and nice job showing what we climbers go through on a given day, nothing else like it in the world.
Pfanner man, you picked up some nice camera tricks from August. Lookin good. Hey, also have to say I dig that song Mashin On the Motorway in one of your earlier rigging vids. I bought the song, shared his vid with friends, and checked out some other DJ Shadow. Music soundtracks are good for the music biz...when will learn...can't stop PFANNER MAN!
I freakin' love this video, I must say it again. So violent. Out off the CCA contributions to youtube, I have to say, it's my favorite. I know this, because it's the video I watch many times.
Wow "Pfanner Man" ! You best Pfanner Man video yet. Loved the odd old King Diamond style song, I was laughing like crazy for a while there. It's like the tree used to be beautiful, but it got ugly and or decayed and now it had to DIE. Ha ha. WOW! , that one big log was close, good reflexes and foresight on where it was going; I'd have been cursing my groundmen if they were supposed to let that one run down below me. Lots of ring action in that video. It's a sign of the progression. My rigging removals are almost always 100% X-Rigging Rings now-a-days. Blocks are silly for lowering. Blocks are great for lifting or pulling things over.
thanks X. yeah, I was def cursing at those green groundies, had a feeling it was gonna happen, wet ropes were partly to blame too tho :p can't remember the last time I used a block in a tree, wulda need all kinds of pulleys & stuff to set up those rigs in the vid, long live X-riggings rings!
