Have you tried a later turn in on the second last corner, a lot of people seemed to be doing that last week, and it felt faster. Although it could have been because it was drying.
As with anything karting in the rain. Always aim to be on the driest point of the track at all times. I’ve found through my years that inside for the second last corner in the wet is faster UNTIL the dry line starts appearing in the middle of the track (because the track is bowed). Everyone has a different preference though and may prefer different lines
Word of advice. The karts won’t turn and will spin very easily in the wet. You will finish up a massive amount of positions if you can keep it going forwards even if you are slower than everyone else. Also wrap up warm because there is nothing worse than being wet and cold in a kart
