I have contacted 2k and asked for refund of 50% of the cost of the game. They did reply "Thank you for writing us back! Andrew, I can totally understand your concern here and I can imagine the inconvenience that has been caused to you after the release of the game. I would be really honest with you I can't help you with the refund of the game however I will do my best that I can do right now. For this, I am going to share the relevant details with the development and I have already left my comments on this issue. I know this is kinda late but this game is unplayable on my switch. FPS is terrible. Am I missing something?

@@chrisandme23 Hi Chris, i am playing it in handle so maybe this can explain my comment. Look in the video setting if their is a Graphic vs Performance mode as i am not sure.

It’s on sale right now, as well (hello, from the future!) So, I’m thinking about it. I used to play Tiger Woods every year, with my Dad & all my boys. We had extensive tournaments. I’m excited to play a new golf game, that appears to be slightly close. So, I ask....how is it, now that you’ve played it?

I have both pga 2k21 and Mario golf. I prefer pga

This fits in well with the scenario of playing golf in mainland China, I have no idea why the annual golf club membership fee in mainland China is very expensive. So when you're struggling to convince family and friends to go to the club at the weekend, there's hardly any spectators or opponents and I have to play alone.

Mario Golf. But for a much cheaper golf game, "Golf" it's like $10

Sorry, "The Golf" I haven't played it myself so can't tell you how good it is. But I've seen it go on sale for $2 at least 3 separate times so might be worth checking out.

Honestly the crowds seem to be pretty terrible in the other versions of the game anyways. I saw an IGN video where someone got a hole in one on #16 WM and the crowd barely even reacted.

Its a extra step but can you create a hot spot on your cell phone and connect that way? Not sure what the rules on a plane are anymore.

I totally agree with you. As I say in my comments having to go online to ay career mode defeats objectives of play anywhere. But game is fantastic

Carl Wilson really doesnt bother me that much. I like to play it lying in bed or while on the sofa watching TV. I admit its not ideal by any means.

Yep. If memory serves, the Course Designer wasn't supposed to make launch on Switch but it wound up making it in.

@@tippidink My apologies as i forgot to write in my comment that i already owned " Everybodys Golf " & The Golf Club 2 on my PS4 Pro & though i've enjoyed " Everybodys Golf " on every Playstation from the 1rst/2nd/3rd & then the 4th which is on the PS4 & other console's I was looking for a more realistic golf game with regards to the player's & the graphics looking as great as possible , all the while creating the games mechanics to play as realistic as i can possibly choose... With most Sports game's there isn't a vast amount difficulty setting & this could be added to give gamer's an easier playthrough for newbies or as difficult as possible for those who've played these types of sports game's & they want to test their skill on harder settings... PGA haven't made a great golf game in year's which was more down to EA just putting yearly PGA Game's with very basic upgraded game's out , but when EA parted ways with PGA i thought we might get a truly great golf game again but unfortunately not & hence why im on the lookout for a really great golfing gaming experience that has established Golfing Greats New & Old & it's not as if these game's use up a lot memory space with the recent one's being around 12GB & im sure they could make a golf game that looks & plays as much as the real game can by using up more memory space to boost these sports games overall looks & play in a way we've never seen before... I know the backdrops & general buildings are usually shown on the first course on at the end of specific courses but they could really make those golf game's look so much better with regards to the overall look of the courses/the course hazards & all the usual things you will see in golf game's... Im well aware that with golf game's theres not many surrounding buildings or environments to boost like the crowd gathering around you as you figure out what club to use within each shot taken!... I think the game's developer's of these sports game's like PGA Tour & FIFA's yearly basic updated numerical releases have gotten lazy & barely do the overall graphics better looking than previous year's version within these football aka soccer game's & they change the controlling of your players & what they can do too much with many of the FIFA & PES Game's on the next new yearly numerical version... Just because its a golf game doesnt mean it cant have the whoa factor & i remember when Links Golf came out & my friend couldn't stop playing it because it played great & for its time it looked truly amazing also... I doubt well get a more photorealistic golf game for quite some time but if they dont stop just releasing yearly games with minimum graphical upgrades then we'll never get one as the developer's are not pushing themselves to develop one... In light of this still ongoing coronavirus stay safe & healthy wherever you are in this world... .....
