Good question! No difference in terms of comfort with a loaded pack. The only thing I didn't like about the FALCAM was that I had a harder time hooking the clip onto my bag. Let me know if you think of anything else!
I noticed the Ulanzi is a bit like the peak design with little width, bending the bag strap a bit to be able to fit unlike the beetle which is quite wide. Thanks for testing the products! It helped a lot with my decision.
Now that I've been using it a little longer, I just keep the clip on my bag all the time anyways so the issue I had would've been pretty irrelevant once I got it on lol
Thanks for the video. I also tried both and ended up going with the PGYTech as well. The deal breaker for me was that the plate for the Falcam kept coming loose from my camera over time and I needed to keep tightening it. The Pgytech has an anti slip design which keeps the plate in place.
Ahh that was something I didn't experience in my brief test! I appreciate the comment. Just used the PGYTECH for the first weekend of hiking and it is amazing
Thanks for the double test ! Have you tested the F38 plate on the Pgytech base ? And same question with pgytech plate on F38 base. Normaly it work, but it is as Smooth as original plate ? I ask because on the paper these plates have the same size. But in reality, my pgytech plate have 1 mm more than f38 and don’t work on my f38 base ( not the backpack version, just standard base) Thanks you 😀
