I hope that they continue to be strong in their faith in Jesus and not turn away from it. For sure, the industry they are working with isn’t going to be encouraging them to live out their faith. Praying that their priority is to serve Jesus first.

Your IDOLS? I know that’s what’s they call celebrities but that’s just wrong. You’re not supposed to have any idols or call anyone idols, it’s idolatry. You can admire the person but they shouldn’t be called idols.
sorry but if you are Christian then you can't worship any other idols, God even says so in the bible (Exodus 20:3) He forbids it. I think you should rephrase what you meant because it can confuses many people and they may think that idol worshiping is okay as a Christian, which is not.
I am falling deeper and deeper for all of them : Harry, Peniel, Matthew, they're all so down to earth, and totally the opposite of what K-pop usually is. They're far from the stereotypical image and I love that. They all don't shy away from deeper convos, whether it be about their road to success, their insecurities, and even faith; it's not easy to talk about your faith, especially if you're not fully confident in it yourself, and you have huge doubts. Kudos to them. ~ Their parents definitely raised them right, wonderful human beings for sure.
harry is not a kpop artists but I totally agree with you. The entire hip hop community in Korea is like Harry. They are all very sweet and down to earth
I love this. Nobody is a perfect Christian, we're all just striving to be better through God. I'm proud of them for sharing their faith, which is not something that's easy to do. It makes me so happy to know that *they themselves know they're not alone and that there's always someone powerful and all loving having their backs.*
Harry , he really blew my mind away . Not many Christians can always say I'm a proud Christian and not many people can see where they might have fallen . It's just so refreshing ! And motivating at the same time ! Religion is talked about in kpop but I feel like this is the longest I've heard them talk about it. I'm going to support him even harder from now on as a christian and music lover . He just makes sense and doesn't sugar coat
I sorta knew there were a lot of Christians in the industry. But when they come out like this, I just get so moved. In a world that is popularizing negative news, sometimes it's good to hear a little heart, a little love, a little passion, a little hope.
As a Korean-American myself who also grew up in a Christian household, I think it would be super interesting to dig deeper into Korean-Americans/immigrants and religion (or maybe in an HDIGH episode???). I think the Korean public has a very unique perspective on religion in general and it might be cool to also look into the history of that.
I remember when I first found pH-1 and heard Christ for the first time. I realized this man was a man of God and I remember my heart soared. This is why I pray for him so much. I always pray for all of my favs but him especially so. God is good and will always be there for all of His children and will always make their dreams come true. God is so good and I believe He put pH-1 in my life to listen to. That’s probably why when you listen to his music, it touches your heart in so many different ways. I pray this man further develops the most amazing relationship with God. Trust no one is the perfect Christian. The only one who is perfect is God Himself. But just the fact that I see Him in Harry is the best thing ever for real.
I love how he made a promise to do it for God, like you know, everything I do, I do it for You and because of You and if its other way than I don't wanna do it, especially stepping into something that can drastically change your life. I'd love to have a conversation with him about that a lil deeper.

my mom talked about this with me, she majored in chem and bio and she told me that there are things she learned about that made absolutely no sense unless there was a god or higher being above and that has honestly really kept me going sometimes

Wow, I admire this so much. In a culture where there seems to be a lot of God-hating people, one would not think to openly profess their faith--one would either be afraid or deny the biggest part of them. I've always had a relationship with Jesus, but I did not start getting bold about it until like a year ago. Watching someone in the music business boldly saying they are a proud Christian is refreshing! I like to say this too: "I would much rather make a fool out of myself telling the world about God than make a fool of myself in front of God trying to look like the world." Hallelujah❤🙏🏼

It's really great to hear you guys speaking openly about being Christians, especially in such a chill, honest way. Making new friends as an adult is hard enough, but personally, I've had a really hard time finding new Christian friends who also share the same interests (arts, music, fitness, etc). I like my non-Christian friends, for sure, but I haven't been able to connect with them beyond our shared interests on a deeper level, you know? It's like we just hit a wall at a certain point.

It's a long journey, Harry! He put you in the Korean industry esp in the Korean Hiphop industry for you to share the gospel. Use your God given talent, skills for the glory of God! It is hard not to compromise because of our own flesh but God is good all the time!
I don’t know if it’s just me or other people feel this way too but when my favorite artist talk about their faith it makes me feel happy because been in this industry and having faith is hard since their a lot of temptation that can further you away from God. They make me be proud of been Christian.

Also so good to see that people in the comments are giving their opinion with so much respect, I'v seen people that make fun of you just for being christian, they think you're dumb and boring and that you can't think beyond. But my faith is stronger and I love to see people in the comments who love God the same as I do. I enjoyed this episode so much 💙
I really get what Harry says. It happens to me all the time! When you are too worried about work, study, success, money or anything in life it is common to forget about God and to begin to feel empty. But in his love, He always calls us back to him, and reminds us that everything is in His hands ♥️ Be strong guys, God has amazing plans for you!
Love it. I like when they get deep and talk about religion and how it kind of dawns on you. Like growing up religiously and then fading from that lifestyle and feeling lost. Thought i was the only one who felt like that. But its a common feeling like damn
As a Christian who got into Kpop it’s nice to see & hear people in the Kpop industry sharing their faith & their story of growing up in a Christian household, even of its a little. I can’t imagine the struggle it must be especially in a industry that has views completely different from the gospel, & not letting fame & money get the best of you. PH-1 is right no Christian is perfect & we all struggle with something. I pray that for those in the industry that believe in God or grew up in a Christian household that they continue to seek God & that He speaks to them as they have a desire to have a relationship with God the father. Even if your schedule is busy, God sees your heart & desire & nothing will make God love you any less. God bring His guidance over you lives & for those that don’t believe in God or unsure that God reveals Himself over you all with His love & mercy that goes beyond understanding. Being a Christian is to know God & have a relationship with Him as His child, it’s not easy but with His help it is possible. God continue to strengthen those who are Christian in the industry and keep speaking to those that want to know Him as their Savior & Heavenly father.
As someone who has an extremely complicated relationship with religion, growing up with religion being used as a basis for abuse and being lgbtq+... it just warms my heart seeing people openly talk about theirs n how it was good for them. I personally will never join another religion fully again but it’s good to watch from the sidelines and feel healing and light from them🥺💛💞
I shocked when heard it but good to know that have christian mentality grew with up kind nice to heard because shows the faith that y'all like me didn't grew christian then turn myself to Christian faith belief in teen years kind expressed to hear that fall temptations even though you christian house hold which we experience it all the time . me as child never went church or but did tried to find faith on never got to this to experience since child .
I'm a proud Muslim and a very big fan of Harry because I relate to his God-consciousness, and it's so refreshing to be able to relate to a musician in this way, even if we don't share the same religion. As someone in the creative industry too, it is not easy for me to bring that God-consciousness into my work and I honestly felt comforted that Harry shares this struggle but continues to strive for the best. Real Christians have this insane brightness not externally but within themselves. Theres this serenity, kindness and energy that comes from within. Theres some Christian’s who embody so much love it almost penetrates others. These people are the loud type 😂 it’s so hard not to feel intimidated sometimes especially if you are shy. Those who do believe in God have something to fall back on, or thank when they are incredibly happy. There has never been a more perfect human God than Jesus, he embodies pure integrity. That is a quality that just…amazes me, how can I be like Him? I think that Tablo said it best when he said “I’m not perfect but I’m trying to love you perfectly” that’s the Christian we should all become, not just towards God but towards our brothers, sisters and any animal or plant or living being on our earth.
Hoping and praying that there would be more people of God like them who are in the industry. Such great influencers. Praise God for placing them in a position where people can hear them talking about their faith.

As a christian, in a world that’s really hard to profess your faith, it scares me. especially that i want to be a singer and be in that business. So to see artists talk about God and being christian really calms me down and makes me think, maybe I can do it. :,)
I can somehow relate to Harry. As a human being it is difficult to stay away from temptations and compromises, especially when you go away from your community/comfort zone and deal with all those "worldly matters". We sometimes tend to carry it by our own strength, forgot our promises to God and the amazing opportunities He already gave us. But God will never let us down because His love for us is perfect, reckless and pure. We just need to come back to Him and He will hold out His hands for us. Have faith. ✨
