That's going to be awesome brother. I have a version 2 i changed the piston rings and bearings to stihl 52mm 044ms440 big bore chainsaw I took the crank and balanced it changed the bearings to SKF clutch arm bucking bar cheap steal was eating it up changed all that with good steal used there valveolean 2 stroke oil mix for break in then I switched to opte 2 2 stroke synthetic oil mix you all told me to run it in my minaralli put it in there 32:1 I'm in Texas 108 degree day 256 temperature but that's not running her like a mad man that's going between 30 to 40 mph and I weigh around 245 i also made my own window a oval changed the Reed valve to a ozz and a mikuni vm 18 carburetor so far so good can you get them to make a expansion chamber pipe along with the 2 piece cylinder I think it would be better my opinion sir ride safe brother and thanks for all the advice on my minaralli she flys getting ready to build a athina minaralli
That remains to be seen. Now they are starting to rush us which is cutting testing short. Rushing things doesn't fix everything. Trying to get it as best as we can in such short time. They will get a proper cylinder but not sure about the head since they want to start producing the cylinder asap. Not giving us time to design a head.
Alot of people say, just build your own chainsaw top end for cheaper. But the 52mm chainsaw top ends are 1 piece & fan cooled. So if the P85 has better cooling than a chainsaw top end build.....That'll be a good reason to just buy a v4 p85 instead of doing a saw build.
That’s AWESOME!! I’ve been in the market for a phantom ever since they came out, but have waited cause of all the issues but once the V4 comes out, I’ll definitely get one.
The head temp just sky rocketed there lol you guys have all the right stuff to fit the cnc heads on these and it will help them cool better looks great guys
Never tried one but mysebut they seem to have a lot of potential if those few issues where fix correct. Glad to see you guys helping with it. Looking forward to forward to see what you do.
It has proper working transfers. That's why the side of the piston is open on both sides instead of being solid piston. Plus the cylinder will not allow the traditional china case transfers to be used because of how ots casted.
The phantom 85 engines are sweet but the price is crazy I have two of them sitting ard cuz all the issues with em I can't win.hope yous can get it rite,👍👍
I was just about to order the v3. I'm still thinking about it. Anybody have a suggestion on a reliable 2 stroke $300 or less? I'm also thinking about the Firestorm Max 80/100cc. Anybody tried them?
I already did this shit smolik performance gave me a true ms460 two windows hole piston and the piston rings I'm using is ms sthil chainsaw hyway caber piston rings 1.5mm or 1.2mm get on my level dude
@@kjsmolik see the problem is that the original phantom head 85 cylinder head is for a chainsaw out door power equipment not for a bicycle also the engine head can't breathe because of compression ratio and the way the motor is setup
@RaoulDuke224 ok? Your point is what? Everyone knows saws have heat issues. Phantom 85 is china produced saw engine that we fix the heat issue for people and produce a proper cooling head for. I AM SMOLIK PERFORMANCE . No one copying anyone. We just have the solution
