@Neuvari My guess is he was working on fighting mechanics, fighting choreographer/director was from HK, so they got the best from both areas.

So here's the deal: the stunt team indeed hails from Hong Kong, but the stunt choreographer is Japanese, goes by the name Kenji Tanigaki. He's part of Donnie Yen's stunt crew, you know Donnie Yen？ the guy who had that shootout with Keanu Reeves in John Wick 4，Yeah, he's been with Donnie Yen's crew from way back. His exceptional action design got Donnie Yen's nod of approval, and since then, he's been doing stunt choreography and direction for Donnie Yen's movies. He's a key figure in the team. One of his notable directorial works in Japan is the Rurouni Kenshin series starring Takeru Satô. It's a really, really good movie. Hope this info helps!

@cenjiahui1 Was he one of the members of oninmusha 3 HK stunt team led by donnie Yen? If so, that makes some sense since many Japanese work and study in HK film making circle. But I thought the fighting director was with a Chinese name in the Chinese interview, though I don't remember it. If it was a Japanese name, I would definitely notice.

I'm not entirely sure, but you should know that he's a big star in China. In recent years, he has occasionally made cameos in Hollywood films. His main profession is in movies, especially action films, so one person's abilities are limited. This is when he needs his action team to help share the pressure. Kenji Tanigaki is one of the best. Most of Donnie Yen's action movies have Kenji Tanigaki involved in action directing, making him a very important member of Donnie's team. Sometimes, even in other movies that Donnie Yen doesn't star in, the producers might invite Kenji Tanigaki to be the action director because of his excellent action design. If you've seen a lot of action movies he's worked on, you'll get a sense of "that's Kenji Tanigaki's style."

@ArekkzGaming I only heard they say wuxia game, and the game is more ninjia gaiden than any dmc game, almost no one but every English speaking media call it soulslike then followed by other western "journalists", maybe that's a good idea if they really went with the soulslike identity in the west to promote it because that's the buzzword here.

Naw, this one is official. I just think they're waiting to release it as polished as possible.

The devs already said that they purposely made the demo easy so people could quickly get an idea of how the game plays.

Demo is made easier if you only did look up stuff b4 saying stuff and maybe the devs want to polish the game b4 announcing a releasedate also game started production not that long ago maybe look up stuff b4 saying things you don't know anything about
