Honestly I was more impressed by the Phantom. Lots of high school guys have such iffy singing voices because they change so much during those years, but this guy-- wow. Truly, truly impressive.
Woah, that Phantom has a bright future. The Christine has potential as well. Still needs more practice though, especially at the long notes towards the end of the Phantom of the Opera.
Like the Point of No Return video, I was more impressed with the male vocalist. However, the notes at the end that she hit were exceptional (if just a bit too short). Still incredible for high school students!
MidoriGurinSim we are a very diverse neighborhood and have always been colorblind when it come to theater and casting ! We were way ahead of the trend !
I totally agree about the wig comment, I think they used the older wigs because they needed 5 wigs to do the scene where they are travelling to the Lair. I felt the wig was bad and distracting. Pubic school budget.
They are both now juniors in college and still performing though not together. It was a once in a lifetime dream of the both of them since they were in Middle School.
+Taylor Sampson You can never use too much vibrato. Straight notes are actually unnatural. Vibrato IS natural. Also vibrato keeps you from going flat. That is why Broadway performers use it on every note (except belters), to make it a good show for the audience and to spare them from hearing someone go flat and it ruin the song for them. So her vibrato was actually perfect. The best vibrato I hav ever heard is Sierra Boggess and this girl on instagram(Julia.loves.singing or something like that.)
I think the wig was supposed to be a wig look cause christine was wearing it in the previous number performing as a dancer and all the girls had the same wig. In my other video past the point of no return her wig is MUCH better.
The wigs are a disgrace. The Phantom and Christine are okay, I wouldn't say anything is amazing because in order to be amazed you gotta see something that's amazing and nothing amazed me at all.
