Sometimes even what can't be seen is exciting and fun. This clip is from "The Phantom Ring" (Episode #77, 1955). I wish I could have watched as they filmed the fight scene. Well done.
Maybe Invisible Superman joined Batman's and Catwoman's rooftop fight with the thugs in the movie. One of the thugs fought someone invisible and got knocked backwards. LOL 😂😂😂
You wanna know something today finally finished cleaning my backyard for the summer, now am sitting in my backyard having some munch beers 🍺 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺and watching what i use watch in the 60s my favorite Superman Awesome 👏 and Thank You 🙏 Much 👍✌️😃
I remember the same type of scene from Batman in the 1960s with adam west. They eventually just turned the lights off and they were all in darkness and couldn't see each other! Classic!
Interesting point but usually unless he was flying France to track down those jewel thieves or Germany to figure out that set of devious nazi twins, or flying toward the hurtling asteroid to smash it smithereens, it seems that Superman’s flight speed is more akin to a jet fighter. And you can see this exemplified when they show him flying. He’s not flying like then character in Man of Steel. Superman was slower in the 1950’s. It was only when CGI came along that Superman was able, even though Earths sun affects him enough to have that potential.
Being invisible would not affect radar’s ability to detect him. His body still has mass, and the radar beams would reflect off him back to the receiver.
Superman was being soft on these bums! One tap each and out you go! Too easy! Knock them around a little bit then down for the count ! Old school fighting! I'm 73 and miss rhe 1960's growing up in Newark NJ!!!
In my opinion the best work in acting, special effects, especially when invisible Superman breaks off the door latch. How’d they do that anyway. Sy was a freaking genius.
This is the only episode of Superman 🦸♂️ where is character didn't die at the end. His character was shot by police in The Secret Of Superman 🦸♂️ and his character fell off a roof in The Clown That 🤡 Cried.
There are only two decent fight scenes in the whole series . In the Jolly Roger he fights the sailors and in No Holds Barred he fights the wrestlers! Thanks Jim!
