Steve Martin was a little kid, possibly watching this episode at home, delighted that a character on TV shared his name.

It was nice to see “Clark” catch the bullet meant for Capt. White. Then to see the same life-saving act performed for Lois Lane in Superman the Movie (1978) was cool too!

Larry Blake played 'Steve Martin.' Lane Bradford played Capt. Chris White. Both longtime excellent character actors. The Adventures of Superman often had an excellent supporting cast and villains, much like Batman, a decade later.
