As an Egyptian, I can say her accent is actually pretty good.

Looks like she'll be pretty slow and squishy but it also looks like her kit's pretty easy to utilize a rain of artillery and induce mass chaos in team fights. Would be fun unless every enemy always focuses you.

Everytime she says "Back into the Fray" I start scream "WHERE DID I GO WRONG? I LOST A FRIEND"

She looks like an Egyptian Samus Aran.

This character is basically Unreal Tournament

I think a lot of the AOE super moves are meant to discourage a bunch of players camping in one spot, they have to spread out and cover more ground.

More like: "Justice rains from ab--aaaagh!" (gunned down mid-flight). A lot of Pharahs died in the Beta while using barrage.

PlayOverwatch Might I suggest changing Pharah's "fuel gauge" to a temperature gauge? Having the jets *overheat* and literally need to "cool down", rather than deplete makes more sense, and comes with more dramatic feedback. ( Just a little UX thing.)

Her voice when using her ult is so bad in this

Parrah feels like the best starting character for the game at the moment you can learn alot of the main game mechanics using her. She is really mobile which teaches you map awareness, and basic dodging. you need to be precise with her rocket shots since they travel slower and concussive blast. you also learn positioning as her ult requires you to have good positioning for it to be effective. Though being security chief i think she needs an ability that shows that she can actually catch bad guys like snare...cause you know pretty sure shes not supposed blow up everybody that looks suspicious.

everyone has some sort of op super move, i wonder how that's going to play out.

I think it will important in this game which team controls the roofs and Pharah will a perfect choice for this task.

For what she is, Pharah has always been the same; a literal menace when paired with Mercy, and quite the assassin when flanking. Her kit has never really changed too and it's very rewarding to get any kills with her rockets. :)

as a jetpack fanboy i have mixed feelings about this hero... the jetpack itself seems smooth and that puts a smile on my face, but: ...the abilities just seem like they are all the same... aoe. more aoe, and more movement,... i would have loved to see some more variety from the jetpack hero.... i know jetpack is a strong ability and you cant just give her the most overpowered abilities but im sure blizzard could have thought of something a little more interesting... ----- if they ever make another jetpack hero then my dream hero would be something like: dmg: low (unless melee) control: medium/high defense: high class: support/tank weapon: smg space: jetpack right mouse: fire left mouse: zoom shift: fast run e: shield (a bubble) q: emp stomp (fires the hero towards the ground and deliver a hard burst when you hit the ground,... dealing damage and shutting down enemy abilities for X seconds in an aoe) f: melee (places hand on enemy head and uses electricity from glove to electrocute,... locks in small animation) alt: overcharge (the hero crouches, locks in place and charges for X seconds, then explode outwards and heals self for 100% hp and allies for 50% and blur enemy vision) personality: something like john starks/iron man... im not good at back stories... playstyle: the hard part about playing this hero is knowing when to actually use the jetpack... just because you have one doesnt mean you have to use it all the time!!!... move in front of your allies so they can take advantage of your bubble... but at the same time know when its time to go behind enemy lines and deliver that AOE stomp... placement is everything with this hero...

If feel like the best way to counter these uber strong damage abilities will involve use of the various shield abilities some of the other characters have.

It's disappointing how Pharah appears to have the lowest viewcount. She looks like she has all the essentials anyone could ask for. A movement skill, a skill that comes out fast with an emphasis on piercing shields, an AoE primary and an Ultimate that can clear out mobs. Her flight is a little clunky and I feel she should trade with Mercy, who can glide at a high speed. And Pharah is hot to boot. Can't wait to see more of her.

I'm not really a fan of the jetpack movement. I hope there will be the option to move around faster and higher, like say this games version of rocket jumping with her. That was one of my favorite parts about TF2, and I hope it makes it into this game.

I wonder if she will be able to rocket jump. I know she has the hoverpack but what if she had the hover pack as a type of way to slowly land or control the time your falling after you rocket jump over your enemy's. I know this is from tf2 but it would be a cool feature

I think that all the enemies that died didn't actually have health on them... After watching every one of these every character that wasn't the player died in one shot... Besides Symmetra's stupid laser gun... Other than that they all fell after one hit from anything. So stop saying things are op cause they're not. its just a weapons/character Preview. Nothing is set in stone. I mean cmon... In the widowmaker Preview She one shot Reignhardt After breaking his shield.... two hits.... all it took. 2000 hp shield poof... Reignhardt down with the second. lol the only one i can exclude is Zenyatta only one of his moves insta killed and that was his special.. Only to try and further reinforce my point is the gameplay with Mercy. She shot her pistol... She hit nothing.... Eh doubt anyone will read this at this point anyway...

Hey, I was thinking. Pharah is all "Protect the innocent" and al, but who are the innocents? If you use a strict enough ruleset, then none are innocent, which explains why she would use a completely offensive toolkit. After all, when there are no innocents to protect, the next step is vanquishing evil so that the innocent might make their appearance.

I would consider having Pharah as my main if the concussive shot was replaced by something damaging. The rocket launcher flies too slow for my liking.

We get it guys. It's ironic that she destroys a bunch of pots just after saying "I will protect the innocent". Doesn't mean you all have to copy each other and take up 90% of the comment section. And yes, I'm lots of fun at parties :)

:) The failure about her that even you can hear the flapping of the wings, they are always immobile. Seems that developing an animation that would give a bird-like wing moving, would have required a too much effort for Blizzard. Same goes for the payloads wheels who are remaining immobile at all of the times, never rolling as it would be normal.

A lot of people absolutely hate her for her alt. I don't. It's fun to see someone use the alt and sing Fire To The Rain as she bombards all of the enemies with OVAR 9000 rockets.

unless her barrage and rocket launcher is crazy strong i dont see her being of much use besides pure damage. even the jetpack isnt much of a utility, unless mobility is a lot strong than i think as of right now

This character is very similar to the soldier. That said, I'm never going to play it...probably. edit: I won't play the character. The game I will DEFINITELY play...

So how does one earn their super move? is it just something that can be popped often?
