Unfortunately, there are not enough residencies for everyone who wants one. Even competitive applicants get turned down. My sister is a pharmacist who wanted a clinical residency. She did not match even though she had research experience and graduated with high honors. Of course part of the problem could have been because she was geographically limited because her husband also has a research career and she has kids. My sister is okay now though. She managed to get her foot in the door in the pharma industry by taking a job she was over qualified for and then moving into pharmacovigilance after she gained some industry experience. If you want to do a residency, it is best not to be geographically limited.
I m also a Pharmacy student from india❤️... And I actually enjoy ,but one thing is that society could take it as low profession ahhh!!! Forget proud to be Pharmacy or can say future pharmacist 😉😘
