This is the Pharrell I want to see back, Let it OUT P!!! The BBC Flamingo varsity, ice cream sneakers, that unique lush Neptunes production. When I heard Skateboard P's music back then (early 2000s), it felt like each beat was the exact beat I was looking for, that no one had ever produced.. just fiction that bounced inside the secret repository of my mind. But once Pharrell released these beats, they were beats that resonated on a level I could not adequately describe but find some sense of weird nostalgia. P, bring it all back; the angel tattoo, the vulcan salutes and canary diamonds blinding the camera. YESSIRR!

Ye focused more on his solo career and dropping classic albums, while P (and Chad) produced classics for artists in all kinds of genres (HipHop and Pop alike). Ye is a lot more political incorrect, while P is clean (almost too clean sometimes). Both are children of Q-Tip. Both defined fashion (to this day). Both influenced the biggest artists we have today (Travis, Tyler, Drake etc.). Kanye himself said that Pharrell is the "happier" version of him.

Omg! So many memories! Bought the album back in 07 after I got my first job (class of 06) and dedicated this song to my ex lol this was OUR song basically and I remember Pharrell being the biggest thing with the team ice cream and his ice cream/bbc/bathing ape clothing line and his star trak label he was hot shit and I remember buying Bape and ice cream hoodies with the ice cream reebok shoes (beepers & dollar sign with diamonds) and all types of shit that influenced my style at the time. Still have a picture on fb with the gear on lol I know now whenever she hears pharrell or even heard this song somewhere she's thinking of me ;-D
