Such a talented pop artist Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke have such unique cool voices and are awesome entertainers. I love Justin Timberlake music and I really love Robin's music. My top 4 unique white male pop artists and entertainers that have awesome pop tunes. Robbie Williams, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, and Adam Lambert. I would actually love a duet of JT and RT. my life would be complete. Such incredible high voices.
Hype Williams is one of the best director's of all time. The visuals and how he makes the models look sexy but classy at the same time is always one of my favorite things to watch in his videos
Shout out to the people who knew Robin Thicke and this song way back when before he went mainstream big time!! Lol I still love and know this song by heart after all these years.
Krystal MIlls Yeah hopefully he does. Didn't even bother listening to his latest albums. I agree that his albums were more meaningful and pleasing to listen to....hopefully he comes back with good music that we can all relate to.
Krystal MIlls AGbaby235 I agree with whats being said, all the albums before Blurred lines were on point. Blurred lines was met for the mainstream crowd therefore it wasn't really "Robin." I listened to the album Paula and it was.. In my opinion distasteful. However I did like one song "Your My Fantasy" I recommend you guys listen to it, The bass line is 100.
Really dude. "way way before he went mainstream" even though this song is with Pharrell Williams. LOL. Like any scrub can just do a video with him. All the worlds a stage. This planet is the devils playground. Wake up people!!
lurewars Lol I know where you're coming from bruh and yes I'm well aware of the Illuminati and how artists have to sell their soul to be famous and all. I just listen to select number of music, artists, and songs just for enjoyment. I support good music and artist when I hear it but I don't worship them.
Its like the Neptunes elevated to a new universe with the production in this song. 11 years later and still nothing quite close to this . Robin was perfect fit
Listen to Kelis's and Kenna's debut album...the songs they produced for everybody from Noreaga to Usher...Timbaland fades in and out but I never heard a wack Neptunes instrumental especially during the early to mid 2000's...they could not be touched!
The funniest thing about going down the 2000’s nostalgia rabbit hole is realizing how the Neptune’s produced half of it 😂 from pop to rap and everything in between. Their royalties have to be absurd
maybe he meant off beat. that's ok he got one word outta 2 there's nothing wrong w heavy shuffle imo imagine if every music was devoid of triplets & everything was on the grid
The Neptunes damn I grew up with their productions it’s like an addiction. I have over 500 songs with their productions on my computer. I miss this sound 😭
Wako FN.wan huncho wako nispy hustle wan rich flow success wealth prosperity good luck PURE PRESSURE GREATNESS BOTTOM LINE BANGER 💥 ITS A NAPTOWN MUSIC wandan promotion channel pap chanel❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ wako wan rich
I miss this Robin. He was so un-cocky and not afraid to be seen without his oversized sunglasses. He looks like a 17yo in the shots when he's in the t-shirt.
"I just close my eyes and curve my mouth, open my mind and words come out... your reflective, your creative, your the picture girl I just painted" Pharrel always knows just what to say😍😂 Been hooked on this song since seeing the vid on Vh1 years ago as a kid
I really slept on the writing in this. Robin Thicke can write his ass off. The lyrics in this are so poetic its easy to overlook with the beautiful entrancing production of the Neptunes. But Robin's pen went off on this.
Other than race, I don't understand the constant comparison between the two. Thicke is more gifted naturally and more innovative. It works to his advantage and disadvantage because he has misfires. Timberlake has a cheesy vibe but better arrangement ability thus makes more hits. Other than that any correlation between the two is nonsense.
NOSTALGIA!!! OMG from my dance recital back in 2005...I remember that fluttery string plucking sound and practicing this dancing on week nights in middle school. It felt so exciting to be out so late at night at my dance class when I knew all my friends were going to sleep yet I was dancing to this at my class...so awesome!!!! I was 12/13 at the time so this was quite a risqué song! lol
I saw him in concert before covid and this was always my jam!! I was up out my seat and in the isles. This is definitely a favorite of mine!! I’ve been a fan since his hippy-long haired look back in the day. ✌🏾❤️
One of my favorite songs of all time. Just seen a IG post that reminded me of this. Had to add it to my r&b playlist to bring me back to better times in music.
Hard to believe that this shit is almost ten years old but it's still a dope ass song, great music video with all the caribbean girls & this nigga pharrell still looks the same, don't age a bit.
This is when Music videos were really the best. I mean they were great in the 80's but the 2000's combined great music with new technology and the artists of the mid 2000's were so sophisticated and classy. They had swagger.
One of the most interesting beats (to this day) of all time. One of the most authentic 'fusion' songs ever realized. THE greatest song Thicke ever made. In a word: underrated
