Crusaider Strike EU Alliance is dead, that server tuned into 80-20 Horde server. Im dying like 5-8times if I want to get into BRD. So yeah... Not really hyped, but im almost 60 so we will see.
Big hype for Phase 4 in general and even bigger hype for sticking it out as a Feral main. Those swipes are so sweet!! Also, shoutout to you and @Kaghoegaming for keeping the SoD fire alive. It was cool to see you use his footage in the window. It's nice to see you guys supporting each other! 🔥
Definitely liking p4 crazy how many people are hating so hard it’s just an extra game mode experiment. It’s fun for what it is definitely liking the rank 10 grind
I am hyped! So much stuff to do in game, at least now while I'm leveling. Will see how it goes down the line but so far so good. I wish getting runes was much easier, at least for alts. With this new additions every class is worth trying but rune acquiring is such a big constraint. Hopefully they do something about it. Keep the good content coming, cheers!
The hype is definitely legit. I've seen so many hopium comments and people having a good time. Alot of negative ones too mind you, but the hype is definitely back.
actually having fun lvling. i work a ton right now but getting about hour and half of gameplay a night in right now and I am 55 lvling with my guildies!!!
Not even 50% of our 300 ppl guild did return. So no, not everyone. But lets be clear, its quite good at this moment and i clearly wont rush it anymore.
My guild is dead, alliance can’t or won’t PvP on crusader strike. I’m stuck at lvl 51. Hoping I get on the same time my 7/350 guildies get on to help me lvl, but those who play seem to already be past all the content I need. Idk, I think I’m gonna finish summer. The sun feels great! This phase drop in July is a huge miss for me….
I’m glad ebonhardt is enjoying himself but the toxic positivity he’s had over sod recently is kind of cringe. He wants it to succeed so badly just for his channel he can’t see any of the obvious negatives to how sod has been so poorly handled
@vespen717 honestly I completely understand. This is my last time rolling on a PvP server, because it was the same feeling for Horde in Phase 3. Phase 4 is really fun when you get to get into it. Max level really makes a pretty big difference in fun and gameplay. And this phase should have definitely dropped a month ago for sure.
I'm hyped because the guild I'm a part of (Trinket) came back, and we're all psyched to raid and do some amazing wpvp. Not to mention it's great going out and questing through the world is a great and viable way to level. Not necessarily being confined to walls of a dungeon to get good xp. This phase is a home run so far.
I have strong opinions about the current state of SoD. I’m very excited right now and was even before SoD Phase 1 dropped because I set clear goals for myself. I didn’t finish the Tier 0.5 quest chain, didn’t play on my hunter during the Classic 2019 launch, and didn’t get Rhok’delar. I know I can do these things on the era servers, but the GDKP culture is terrible, and I hate it. So now, I want to complete everything I missed from the original vanilla experience. This always gives me something to do. Basically, no matter what people think or how many mistakes the developers make, I keep playing. Now, with Phase 4 finally launched, I’m excited despite its own set of problems. I think the current development team is pretty bad and could do much better. For example, making BRM a PvP zone without an option to toggle it off is a terrible idea for players who just want to level their characters around level 50. They also didn’t anticipate that the Horde would dominate every layer and realm. It’s ridiculous. I faced similar issues with my Alliance character during Classic 2019, and now it’s even worse! Anyway, I feel weird being so hyped because many people have dropped the game and will probably never come back. It’s a massive loss for Blizzard. P.S. I know the WoW community is one of the most toxic in the gaming industry, but I’m sure Blizzard could have done a better job catering to even such a difficult audience.
I'd agree on the brm being fun when you don't need to get into a dungeon/raid in there. Pushing into the mountain with like 8 others was fun. Trying get into brd, not so much,

What? The most populated PvP server in my region is still completely dead 2 days into SOD. When I log into the same region Cataclysm server it is absolutely popping. Sorry but SOD is a failed experiment. Couldn’t tell you exactly where it went wrong but the proof is in the pudding - people don’t want to play it
Its only elite players who play 24 7 that want a fresh. The only reason they want that is because that type of player max eveything in 2 day get way ahead and then quit for months and fall behind. Then because they are not at an advantage they wine for a new game so they can be on the top again instead of the people that stayed and put in work.
Was this sarcasm? out of 45 raiders, we had 4 come back for phase 4. There are no High pop servers. 15-20 people in IF (Living flame) I could join a new guild, but I started classic with my friends and we moved to SOD. Happy to hear your having fun.
It's definitely a tragedy what happened to alot of guilds. I know it would be harder to play when you've got to make a friend group all over again. If you can find a group though, Phase 4 is definitely starting off super fun. I know, easier said than done. I am sad that a lot of guilds did fall apart and not survive the Phase 3 Dark Ages.
Very much enjoying the new content and I'm glad it's there, but I do feel like DFC is another classic case of "fuck melee dps players, amirite?" Every other mob cleaves or has immo aura. Along with some of the boss mechanics being very melee unfriendly. Mass aoe and even 360 Degree cleaves and weird "backtals" Hellscream straight up grabbed me and stood in the bladestorm. Cool content tho. I will say that guy looks nothing like Gromash lol. Had a paladin healer so maybe it affected things for my little kitty butt.
It's kinda hilarious how you are praising the Blackrock mountain pvp because you are horde on crusader strike lmao I guarantee if you were alliance and had to spend 15 minutes corpse running each time you want to go to a dungeon you'd have a much different opinion:)
No hype. A dozen players in my guild returned for P4 and we had 700+ in P1 and most of P2. They truly ruined SOD. The person who created incursions needs to never touch a game again.
I have a strong impression that this guy thinks that succesfull mmo slmust be crowded. While in reality its better when you dont see people everywhere because in a medieval fantasy world is vast and amount of people outside of the towns is very small. You are unlikely to meet anyone.
