Phase sequence of three phase system determines the direction of rotation of 3 phase induction motor. Phase sequence also decides, if we can connect one 3 phase system parallel with another or not. "How the given phase sequence can be reversed ?" If i get this question in exam for 2 marks (electt. engg. diploma 3rd sem) what can be its most accurate answer acc. To my level as there is no mention about any motor or any device in the question . plz do reply...as my exam is after 3days and i got this question in 2 previous question papers of electrical machines-1.

Because current flowing through primary windings will produce flux which results large voltage across secondary and CT will saturate which may cause blasting in CT.
