Heyy I have a question that I don't have any project in my msc bcz I have done my masters from normal University .but I have good cgpa and can get strong recommendation letter .so is there any possibility that I got the mail or I joined phd from india .
Sorry but chances are very less. If want to go abroad try to do some project work in IIT or IISER. Because in Europe and USA they don't take u on the basis of your cgpa, there selection criteria is not like India.
Hi Himani, It might not be a good idea to apply for phd abroad without any research experience. If you really want to pursue your phd from abroad, you can still get some research experience from any of the institutes as pointed out by Amit here.
They don't know what is GATE or NET-JRF exams or any other National exam that you have qualified. Two things are important while applying abroad are- Your research experience. It can be your Master's project, separate research projects that you have or any internship that you have done. So by all this one can get idea that they prefers candidates good research backgrounds. Even IITs/NITs/IISER names not matters. But guys from these institute has good background of research and knowledge as well. If you want to use your GATE score then you can think about National institute of Singapore. Best wishes 👍
Hi Ramneet, Gaurav’s comment answers your question quite aptly except the fact that NET and GATE exams matter a lot in most of the cases. Generally, Professors evaluate you on the basis of your national exam. For India, it’s CSIR-NET and they know it quite well. Sometimes it might be hard to explain the importance of GATE exam in terms of phd career but procedure of application is no different.

It partly depends on your PhD supervisor. He must have good links abroad to get you placed somewhere. If not that, you can easily apply for funded post doc positions in your capacity but still you must have a good recommendation of your supervisor. However there are a lot of funded post doc positions in germany that keeps appearing time to time in various reputed groups, you just need to be well aware.

@@snigdhapatra8411 There is no such eligibility exam, but you can have atleast TOEFL score with you before applying. TOEFL score can fulfill all the english requirements. ( sometimes it is required )

The most stable profession after PhD is to become a professor in a reputed institute. However, if you don't want to become a prof. then you can also go for R&D departments or a pharmaceutical and technical jobs, it basically depends upon your field of interest.
@@priyankayadav9248 It depends upon where do you intend to apply. There are different criteria for state universities, central universities and IITs. For IITs specifically you need to have post doc experience and atleast one of your PhD or postdoc must be from foreign university
