The seald envelope containing LOR/reference letter should be sent to daad office by the University professor himself or should I take it from him and send it to daad regional office along with the other documents ?

Hello ma'am, I'm from India. I am going to apply for PhD grant through DAAD scholarship program. I have been accepted by an individual supervisor of my field from a renowned German University. So, when can I apply for scholarship through portal? Only deadline is mentioned on the portal, which is 20th October. Can you please provide me a way through which I can get the information regarding the starting date of application?

Try finding out professors in your field and mail them with cv....If they accept, you can get.

No one is sure about anything at this stage. Better you prepare every things. Once situation will be okay, then u can start applying in Germany. Best of luck.

I think you can start applying and for DAAD you can send them mail writing your inquiries, you should send mail to Anuroopa Dixit (responsible person for application of PhD) to get the detail information about DAAD scholarship. You will get the email id from DAAD webpage
