Trello is very useful for group collaboration. It’s also much more user-friendly than notion. Padlets can be cute for presentations in class.

I really appreciate these videos! It's so nice to have a real example of what it's like going for a Phd! I have to ask, what is it that made you decide to pursue a Phd? I've thought about it in the past but everytime I talk to someone about it the advice I get is to stay away...did you recieve similar advice and decided to go for it anyway or did you recieve more positive feedback?

Thank you!! Honestly I decided to do a Masters first (even though I had thought about a PhD since high school), and within the first month knew I belonged in academia. I am passionate about research and learning, and couldn't picture any other career that would be well suited. I had several advisors along the way encourage me to go into academia without me even promoting. Now I also had loads of people who warned me about it! But I went in eyes-open knowing the job market would be tough, but I wouldn't be happy doing anything else. Hope this helps!
