Thanks for sharing, Ayo! I like that you kept reiterating that your phd is one bit of the many things your supervisors are involved in. This is really helpful. Well done! ❤
You’re welcome, Ozioma! Thanks a lot for watching. Yes, it is always good to be aware of the fact that supervisors will also be juggling a lot. In this way, one would be better able to take charge of one’s PhD and work with supervisors in more efficient ways that will benefit all parties. It’s great to know that you found the video helpful. Thank you! ❤️
Thanks for sharing these tips with us Ayo. I use a Supervisor-Student meeting form to track my PhD progress. I email this to my supervisor a day or two days after each meeting so that we all know what we have planned for the next meeting.
You’re welcome😊. Thank you so much for watching. The Supervisor-Student meeting form you use sounds like a great tool. I expect that it would be an efficient way to get an overview of PhD progress over time!
@@ayodejimatuluko I tell you it is straight to the point. It outlines the feedback received on which chapter, action agreed upon for next meeting, when is the next meeting etc.
@@EarlyYearsMattersTV Wow. That is so nice. It helps when everything on the PhD progress, chapter feedback etc., are in one place. It is important to be very organised in this way from the beginning of the PhD. Thank you so much for sharing. I will borrow this idea, if you don’t mind!😀
Hi Ayo... thanks for this video.. I'm starting a PhD at University of Glasgow this October and have been finding ur videos quite helpful... however, would u be able to discuss some best practices for a PhD student upon arrival.. like things a fresh PhD student should do when they first take a step into their PhD Journey
