Recently finished about a years worth of flight training from just a few glider hours all the way to cfi here, and it all started with this video. I came to watch a phenom and ended my day having watched dozens of videos of Palomar. What a place. This video was the first I had heard of it, and I knew immediately that I wanted to train there. Carlsbad became my first home (first time living on my own). I have hundreds upon hundreds of great memories there now, even only being there for one short year. I am to take a teaching job up in Livermore for now but someday I hope to make Carlsbad or North San Diego my home for good, and I will never forget the chill Palomar vibe. So because of your video, thank you for a year full of incredible hikes, eats, flying, memories.. wonderful friends and I vibe ill long to get back to for as long as I live. NoBadDays
In the US, if you were paying for the flight then you would need at least a private pilot certificate, a multi-engine rating, an instrument rating (with multi-engine privileges), a Phenom 100 type-rating (EMB-500, single-pilot or SIC required with a co-pilot), a complex endorsement, and a high-altitude endorsement.
Man, "fly the line running whith speed" should be obeyed before putting this aircraft to work. FLY (F) - Flight Plan THE (T) - Temperature LINE (L) - Landind Elevation Field RUNNING (R) - Radar Storm WHITH (W) - Weather Conditions SPEED (S) - Speeds Take care man... take care!
