Flying a Phenom 100 to EU from Florida, We stopped in Bedford MA, Goose Bay Canada, Greenland in this video. Stay Tuned for part 2. Follow me on Instagram @Gear_Down PIC Kyle on instagram @Rannachank
Another great video! I am a pilot and AME (Canadian version of an A&P) and have spent a lot of time in Goose Bay looking after a Caravan on floats. It is a beautiful part of the country and the folks at the Woodward's FBO are always welcoming. You never know what you might see on the ramp with all the aircraft stopping there either before or after crossing the Atlantic! Looking forward to part two.
Dude your content is always stellar. I sincerely hope you never tire of putting out videos for us to enjoy. Love the Part 91 life you are bringing us along for.
Hey! just watched you and Owen flying in the GIV....SLC night show....great stuff! Keep it coming as much as you can. My workmates here at AA shared your channel. Be Safe.
Awesome flights and Phenom is such a cool looking jet. I flew Columbia on this route from Europe to US, and vividly remember Narsarsuaq and Goose Bay. My crossing was in June and nature was so beautiful.
Hi from UK. Your video has just been pushed to my feed. Looking forward to the next parts of your trip. I use to watch Dangerous Flights. Greenland was always windy. 😁
Love the vid! And Love the Phenom 100! Such a cool plane! And it can do 400 true! Not bad! I’m exited for Part 2! Prob gonna be super lit! Plus you’re videos are the most fun vids ever! Bring dat 42 wherever u go!
Great awesome airplane, job and video. The Phenom is outstanding for sure. Make sure, you discover and enjoy the night life in Barcelona. This is awesome. ❤ good flight for the next episodes. Love your videos. Take care and all the best from Germany 😊😅
Greetings from Bratislava, Slovakia. Been following you from your early days on YT. GR8 content as always. Looking forward 2 the 2nd part of this vid. Keep the blue side up!
So happy to find all these videos of single engines and smaller planes crossing the ATL - I am taking my first transatl trip in two weeks - these videos and the calmness of everyone makes me feel so much better! Cheers!
Glad you like them, and I’m glad they are helping to ease your mind. Crossing the Atlantic is very safe, and a lot of fun! Enjoy your trip, where ever it takes you! Cheers!!!
It’s always bloody cold in Goose lol. I paid my dues flying Twin Otters outta YYR as bush pilot. Love the channel, great video and keep them coming, buddy! Cheers, Moe
Dope content bro love these videos. Sharing this!! You guys are wild for eating ice cream in that freezing weather lol I need to grab me a happy dad hat to wear while flying around the east coast 🤘🏼
List of Emergency Kit Items: 1. EPIRB - Check✅ 2. Don Julio 1942 - Double Check ✅✅ Love your vids. Keep up the great work. Can't wait for Part 2. Regards from HB.
Your videos are so great to watch. In one episode you made a Starbucks coffee in the gulfstream. just soo cozy. :) Warm greetings from Germany Düsseldorf
You are truly living on "Cloud Nine" aren't ya??? Plane just left Ireland northbound at 38k feet. I absolutely love the world you get to live in, and glad I can sit on the ground and just imagine what it would be like.
Love your vids so much! Thank you for posting. Also the ice cream in -30 degree weather 💀 next time you’re somewhere really hot you should get a hot coffee to even it out
There is another vid about the approach to Greenland (I believe you were in Narsarsaaq) where they point out the homestead of Leif Eriksson who was an explorer who landed in North America well before Christopher Columbus. It’s kind of a neat thing to see things like that.
Thats pretty cool, Unfortunately we didnt have anyone on board that knew anything about Greenland other than its a sketchy approach. Subscribe for Part 2. The departure is REALLY crazy! Cheers and thanks for watching.
@@gear_down yep! Usually it’s an overflight, not a stop. Most of the time just a quick gas-and-go in Shannon before heading into the Middle East. That Phenom is a sexy jet though, what an adventure!
N627DB. You have to blur out the flightId on the pfd too. It’s more distracting that you blur out the nameplate than anything. You can find the flight based on the route alone. Save yourself the time
I'm so glad I found your channel. You've become my favorite aviation channel, don't tell CitationMax lol. Are you connected to Nelk, with all the Happy Dad attire? Thanks for the great content!
Great trip and great plane. Love to see the other parts soon. Eating ice cream in freezing winter time is my favorite, it warms you up from the inside soon😊. Would you do this trip in your own Citation?
@@gear_down Does it have the range if you lose pressurisation and have to complete the flight at a lower altitude? That would be scary over the Atlantic.
Having worked in and around the 91 world, I never question carrying pax, especially if that's their shiny new toy. But by god, that's a small frame to fly overseas. I am surprised that there was no Wick stop as opposed to the DUB you mentioned. Winds that good leaving KEF?
