He’s support in the form of a debuffer. He isn’t as front as a ranger. His moves are more geared towards limiting enemy movements and defenses, not being up getting kills. So he’s a supporter, just in a different way from Medkit and them

The thing with subspace being a support is that he doesn't do a giant ton of damage lmao. He can sorta fight back if attacked but he literally has an ability so he can run away 💀 subspace don't do so much until his phinisher, then you're screwed if you get sucked in
Actually: Subspace is support because he weakens enemies so others have an easy time killing them, he lowers enemie's health so melee and ranged can kill them more easily, especially thanks to being able to poison enemies
I’m pretty sure Subspace is support because his job is to weaken the opponents so his teammates can finish them off. That’s why I’m pretty sure he’s the only character that deals vulnerability. Also it’s pretty difficult to get kills with him compared to a lot of other characters if i’m being real

As a former Vine staff main, you are tripping balls because we Vines get targeted by everything under the sun (looking at you Swords and Boomboxes) Skateboard is a bully. Bio is bio. Trying to hit something to grow them plants is like trying to snipe but with 3 damage per hit. (God bless mobile players) and not even the phinisher can safe one even at full hp. Also Boombox is a very good support protector and god of chasing range thank you very much.
As a scythe and vinestaff main, i'd say the scythe gameplay is accurate, but the vinestaff one is... the complete opposite because uhh.. the enemy always want my ass dead.
The only way that subspace is a support (as far as i know) is that he’s the only phighter that supplies vulnerable debuff (the one that makes you take more damage)

As a katana main I can confirm I get killed a lot by ranged phighters. Another thing is he’s surprisingly good against banhammers, and he can help subspace’s finishers with the levitated slices

am I the only shuriken main who uses the grappling hook once per round because it feels really unreliable? like I can’t get any kills from up there and hyperlaser always kills me :( I can’t even use it to escape because it can be cancelled. idk
boombox looks weak on the surface with only 6 base m1 damage and 3 basic skills, but he’s actually incredibly overpowered when you take into account all of his gimmicks. first of all, his m1 is just goated. as long as you can time your hits, they quickly rise to literally 14 damage per hit with ridiculous range and give your entire team a 20% haste boost, making melee classes much better since they can outrun and catch up to enemies. his m2 is even better because of its LUDICROUS range and shield and haste effect. if you use this at 4 charges, which isn’t even hard to achieve, you’ve essentially just given you and everyone around you 50 shield and way more haste than is ever necessary. them supports aren’t going to last a second with even one superbuffed melee character chasing them. his q has incredible utility, being able to evade melee classes like biograft or sword (he can use it to negate katana’s ult entirely). thats not all, his q also deals more damage on recast based on how long he’s been in the air, meaning you can consistently deal a total of around 30 damage with this skill. his E is a complete counter to like 4 classes in the game (slingshot, hyperlaser, rocket, subspace) and also has no endlag and great knockback which makes it useful for keeping enemy melee classes at bay. finally, his phinisher gives 200 decaying shield to all allies in range and leaves 50 permanent shield on them as well as a good amount of haste. this doesnt look too powerful, but let me tell you this can literally COMPLETELY PREVENT OVERTIMES in conquer. the knockback is enough to send enemies flying upward, meaning that if it’s timed right, it will remove all enemies from the point at the last second of the match. all in all boombox is kind of crazy at being a support because he’s pretty much unstoppable given a melee ally and a healer to back him up.
As with my 1 hour of using vinestaff, I argue it is one of the supports that can basically turn you into an agressive healer. Or in other terms, You will achieve litteral MEDIC GAMING Sprouts boost your speed + Heals you and your allies + explodes The E skill basically recovers your sprouts for every hit of it (and they shoot all at once) Q is basically the Medic beam from TF2 albeit complicated as it depends on the DPS of yout tagged allies + you get seeds ig And the finisher is a 3 wave heal in an area + upgrades your sprouts She is basically a broken healer. ... Okay yeah also everyone wants to kill you for some reason and your m1 sucks ass so yeah
theres also new tech discovered with her where you can plant sprouts on ceilings and walls and they’ll still have almost the same range for their effects, making them way harder to kill

Bruh this guy is the only shielder other supports are heal or subspace plus boomboxs phinisher gives a pretty good shield and some splash damage which can save someone from being crowded like ban hammer or katana not to mention that boombox is perfect for ruining vine staffs heal boombox mains whos with me?
