Phil Collins performing "Don't Lose My Number" in Melbourne on May 15, 1985. The song was first played live ~2month earlier (Feb 11, 1985). VHS/Tape-Stash
Wow first time hearing him sing this song whithout back up singer, no wonder why after 1985 he always use back up singer cause he had to use a lot power without back up singer and Collins still hit those note even without back up singer. And Phil Screams at the end tho 🤯
now I understand why it wasn't kept for the official vhs release, it does sounds a bit empty without the full back vocals trio of Bridget, Arnold and Fred of the 90 tour. although there's no brass section here, thank God. great footage, never saw that before
As a serious collector of everything of genesis Collins on film for nearly 40 years this footage is new to me too so please can you confirm if you have the full concert ?
I don't have the full concert. Not sure if it exists, but likely not from this source. I'm pretty sure this was filmed for local TV (to allow them to have something to feature on segments about the concert). I do have a bit of additional footage but I can't recall if there are any other complete songs. Maybe 10-20min in total of footage from the concert.
@@DavidLightman5 thanks for the info it’s brilliant quality & I am sure we would all like you to upload the rest of the footage if possible & if you have anything else that’s rare too, I’ve noticed many rare clips films of rare footage been uploaded to you tube in recent months which is great
