@@Cheeselover34age don’t matter, when talking about current form. Messi and Ronaldo are 2 years apart, that never stoped from debating seasons to seasons. Phil is playing better now… that’s it
People who say that one guy is “miles better” got no ball knowledge. They are pretty evenly matched, both have the same amount of goals right now and both scored in quarterfinals of UCL.
As KDB has been injured, and Haaaland has been injured and missing quite a few chances, Foden has had to step up and he has shone. Saka is also having a very good season this campaign as well. In my opinion, I think that Saka is slightly better just because I think if they swapped places, Saka would do better at City than Foden would at Arsenal
@@Alfred-rl1ve Saka is very versatile role wise. He can play as an inverted winger like he did vs Liverpool, as a wing back like he did vs City, as a touch line hugging winger like he does every other game, as a wide playmaker like he does against each team that plays low block, as a 10. Pep and City have been linked with him before but he declined.
@@Alfred-rl1veyou are the epitome of what’s wrong with modern football! Such a fucking know it all! “Saka doesn’t fit..” shut up! Does any of us really fucking know what fits and not in pep’s team anymore? 2 fucking years ago people said “ Haaland won’t fit into pep’s style, he wants a playable forward not a target man”. Just shut up and stop believing in every deranged amateur football tiktoker
Im an Arsenal fan... so Im gonna be bias and say Saka is better than Foden. Tbf though. This aint an argument till later in their careers, when they both hit their primes. Foden is spectacular... but so is Saka. Right now... 6th April 2024... both Foden and Saka have 14 goals, but Saka has 8 assists while Foden has 7. This can be a debate to you all... but personally, wait till their prime years. And vote off their career path etc.
Both of their roles in their team are so different. At the start of his career up until now, Bukayo Saka has carried Arsenal and has been their best player attacking wise. Under Mikel Arteta, they went from a mid table team to a team in contention for the Premier League title and they’re in the champions league quarterfinals and he’s been the driving force of their resurgence and he’s blossomed into an elite winger who now needs to start winning trophies if people are to see him as a world class winger. At the age of 23, Phil Foden has won everything there is to win in football and has 5 premier league titles to his name at this age and I feel like because he plays on Manchester City with a lot of talent, sometimes we forget how old he is and we can take his achievements for granted. Initially he didn’t start his career off playing regularly as Pep was managing his minutes which is something that managers have to do with young players and it shouldn’t be a surprise that he’s been on fire this season. One of the reasons why Phil Foden is playing so well right now isn’t being talked about enough and that’s the way in which Pep didn’t overplay him when he was 18 19 unlike others.
Arsenal haven’t been “mid table”, even I as a spurs fan have to admit that. Also it’s easy to win everything imaginable at 23 when you play at goddamn Manchester city
@@NortheasternP.T.S. I'm an arsenal fan and I'll admit we were mid table. Anything below the European spots is mid table and we finished 8th twice in a row
Right now Foden is better. Stats dont mean anything, and he hasnt taken pens. Feel like its really close between the 2 and I think it was always be depending on form.
I'm a madrid fan so I don't like any of the two players. But Imo without any biases... saka has been putting on a show for years . He's always the first choice in England for a reason.
He's a sub most of the time cuz Pep wants to make sure he ain't gon' be wasted and reaches his full potential, also it ain't abt the goals and assists, like Martinelli, hasn't scored much goals but is an amazing dribbler even against top clubs so ye
I just hit 2K subs Peche nation thank you for inspiring me to start upload for Fortnite/FC24 videos!!❤️ I hope you all have a great rest of your day/night!!!! 🎉 thank you for the support
Let me ask how is this happening without Cole Palmer not being in tht conversation he is up n above them on G/A but he is still not being mentioned...aaah painful #CFC💙
@@SevenRealms-lx9hc bro i’m no city fan if you want to call him a ghost i don’t really mind, but haaland is an elite poacher, strong in the air, and fast, all of these are ideal for a striker
@@lebronjamesat39 ig he works well as a goal scorer but still he’s very easy to pocket. Alvarez, however, doesn’t have better finishing but definitely can create chances and win challenges and make passes. He can make runs and score
Bukayo is an ever present force in his team. Phil Foden is glamorous players at times. Bukayo outshines in consistency and that’s what matters to managers.
That's due to pep roulette Phil literally got a hatrick vs villa and was benched yesterday vs palace.. wouldn't happen in any other team bar city cus that's how pep guardiola is..
Saka being consistent 🤣💀 okay buddy, what premier league are u watching? Ain’t no way people are comparing Saka with Foden. Foden is miles ahead, just look at how he plays. Of the 14 goals scored in the Premier League, 5 were penalties for Saka. As for Foden, 14 goals with no penalties. I would take Foden any day. They’re equal in assists too
“Consistent” 😂. You lot look at the conversions every game then say consistent when in actual fact he’s not consistent. Saka turns up for about 15 minutes a game but because he gets on the “goals & assists” sheet you don’t pay attention to how much of a stinker he has had. Good player but overrated my god.
@@kenz2162 Saka takes penalties for Arsenal. All of Foden’s goals for Manchester City have been scored without a penalty as they’ve come from open play.
@@animateit4642 He also wins them. If Foden can’t take a penalty if they are that easy as you think then he is not better than Saka. People slated Saka for missing a penalty but whenever he scores them then also you have a problem. Penalties are not easy. The pressure eats people alive. Just ask Ronaldo, Messi, Baggio, Beckham, Terry and many more.
Let’s be honest this is disrespectful to Saka… Saka could easily be better at Man City than Foden, he carries Arsenal. Could Foden carry Arsenal like Saka did even since he was 19? Saka has been consistent season after season and I’m sure Foden can continue his form he is phenomenal but this is the first season he has cooked. Saka still has another gear to go this season. I rest my case!
Fodens scored all 14 of his goals from open play/set pieces(not penalties). Saka has scored 14 goals (as of the Brighton game). 5 of them were from the penalty spot
City had mahrez and Bernardo silva in that RW/ RM position when foden plays now and pep was in hurry to put burden on foden whereas arsenal had 80 mi flop Pepe so they had to play saka more.
I’m an arsenal fan and saka couldn’t lace phodens boots , you can’t and shouldn’t compare the two just enjoy two great players. Foden doesn’t get merely the same amount of minutes saka does but his impact and talent is undeniable . Cole palmer ran away from competition and saka has none for his position , Phil stays and fights for his place In the best team on the planet every season . Respect foden .
@@jayjayrumpzzz1785 Aye, sure pal. Truth is, if you actually watch a lot of football and are an unbiased fan (like me), you know that Foden is better than Saka. However you want to put it, Foden’s just operating at a slightly higher level, and is more effective 🤷♂️
U right mate, Foden maybe isn’t world class yet, but defo is a more complete player than Saka. Gotta see the matches and leave the fanatism away to look properly at players quality and influence on the pitch
@@nathanc4298Saka is better yo. He impacts the game better with the amount of chances and key passes he gives. Currently, they have the same goals and saka has more assists.
We are all still forgetting something. “Half of cole palmers goals are pens” saka has 5 penalties in the prem this season and the same amount of non penalty goal contributions. I’m not a fan of foden actually I’m his biggest critique. My problem before was he never won matches for city which he didn’t before this season he won’t city around 13 points in his career. This season he’s been the difference on many occasions and he’s on at least 9 point this season. Not a fan but gotta give credit where it’s due he’s doing well.
It's not just about goals and assists, but without a doubt saka. Clutch, main man at arsenal. Hit the ground running at arsenal, heavily relied on and always delivers
Honestly none of them compare to Cole palmer. He is playing for a worse team and still has more goals and assists as both of them and just joined chelsea.
lad all cole scores are pens you cant just chatter shit like if cole was carrying chelsea they have jackson, sterling, mudryk, enzo, james, gallagher, caicedo its quite literally a 1billion worth squad theyre just shite
Foden is way better because saka was meant to be the next big thing for arsenal but he’s only won them the flipping community shield but I can’t even think of how many trophies Foden has won
why do people make trophies a judgement man city is a fucking super team one of the best ever with arguable the best manager OAT saka at city would do the same if not more comparing trophies is not fair saka spent 4 years in a struggling arsenal side
It's a debate that makes no sense. This is Foden's breakout year, all this hype and next season he could just fall off a cliff, same with Palmer. You can't compare them with players like Saka or Salah because Saka and Salah have been the two best players in the premier league the last 3 seasons, they've scored the most goals and assists in that time. To then suddenly compare up and coming players like 24 year old Foden and 21 year old Palmer who have no proof of longevity is criminal. It's a dumb debate started by some City fans wanting to be relevent, they should just enjoy watching their players play, chat shit at the end of their careers.
@@its_mil_4816yeah KDB Been the best player in the prem for the last 5-6 years bar last year cus haaland went crazy + injury's.. coming from a united fan
@@zps5322 this is the first time he's getting consistent starts as an important player, before he was just rotation. This is also the season he's making a name for himself. So yes it is a breakout year
There both incredible players, faces of the league and idles to many already. But instead of arguing (I'm talking to the English fans here) enjoy that you have to future stars of the game in your league and in your national team 😂 like it's halirious you have some of the best youngsters in your national team and you still doubt in bringing it home.
All i see is top players for their clubs but one is a menace in an england shirt while the other is a dud so far... Pep has really drawn the lessons from all that la masia potential ending their careers at 22
theyre 23 and 22 respectively both have 30 plus ga in the hardest league in the world thats crazy numbers considering the seasons not over both could hit 40 ga at 22 and 23 messi was doing that and im not comparing them ofc messi was far ahead of them but u cant discredit them
Their both amazing, I think Saka is a bit more threatening and a better goal scorer, but Foden is incredible all round and has played a huge part to Man city success this season.
@@ethandean4 foden has been play at his natural position for 6 years while saka changed his position less than 3 years ago so it’s impressive how saka has those numbers.
Saka is good, but if I had to pick only one of them for my starting line up it would be Foden. I would feel much more confident if Foden was in my team.
I think so this comparison should be done if foden keeps his form consistent for atleast 2-3 years. Saka has been consistently doing better for asrenal in the pl. If foden plays consistently for man city for 2-3 years, then this debated can be heated up. Currently, this debate is the most unnecessary thing in footbal.
I take foden any day of the week. He is just a better player and overall he just doesn’t ghost in big games like saka. Saka goes missing in every single big match.
foden hasnt played anywhere close to sakas games and is still a better footballer, statistically saka has more this season but foden has contributed more to city and played better because he is better
