PHIL HARE - DREAMS/THE BOOLEY HOUSE 

Happy New Year to everybody - particularly my subscribers!
So, in spite of looking like death and having seemingly made it through another Xmas, I have been continuing to further investigate a tuning that I came up with and used on my last album 'A Stranger I Came'. The guitar is tuned to Cmaj7 minus the third in the scale, hence: CGCGBC. This is capoed-up at fret two so I am playing in D.
I decided to more-or-less improvise around two melodies. The first is a version of the Stevie Nicks song 'Dreams' from the 1976 Fleetwood Mac album 'Rumours'. This is followed by a slow-drag traditional Irish slip jig which was picked up by osmosis from the playing of the great Irish/American fiddler Martin Hayes.
