@@Marc98338 I think you overestimate the level of your comprehension. And stimulants? I'm sure you meant steroids, but even then they are irrelevant to the hypothetical scenario I was talking about. Which was: "To ponder what he would have looked like as a bodybuilder who never used drugs". His genetics for bodybuilding are supreme, even without drugs he would have achieved a phenomenal physique. That sentence does not mean that I think he would be anywhere close to where he got. Simply means that to most, he would have still been beyond reason, because many still do not understand the extent of development that extreme genetic outliers can achieve.

The arms see so much stimulation in general from workouts, you don’t NEED to go to failure every single set. That’s totally unnecessary. It’s really about the pump and over inflating the muscle with blood. So it’s not necessarily just about genetics, it’s Phil had the mindset of executing different exercises to attack the muscle differently. It was all about the pump, not failure.

Phil was bigger than Markus ruhl, Ronnie Coleman, Jay cutler, and Yates put together being around 400lbs on stage. He had the greatest vacuum known to mankind, and he had Lee Labrada type posing. He was also the greatest ambassador in bodybuilding of all time!!!
