4:09 when phil ivey said he had q982 when Zigmund asked what he had on the flop and he actually had that and not even a flush draw that was baller to the fucking max....
Love the comments lol. Yea.. phil and ziigmund would get rekt hard in 10c cashgames. 10c table is like a fucking final boss of poker, money will be sucked out cent by cent, every fucking move is so precisely calculated even Einstein would admit he doesn't know anything about mathematics
it means they both get in the money preflop (an amount they both agree to preflop), and let the cards run until the river. The person with the winning hand wins. They use the term flip coz it literally is a 50/50 as to who wins the hands. obv one player might run better than the other (like Ivey in this case) it is a flip given they both have no edge, and hence can not control what happens.
Science is an "empirical" field, that is, it develops a body of knowledge by observing things and performing experiments. The meticulous process of gathering and analyzing data is called the "scientific method," and we sometimes use science to describe the knowledge we already have. Science is also what's involved in the performance of something complicated: "the science of making a perfect soufflé."
a "flip" in poker just means gambling where each party agrees to put in a set amount of money and to check it down. saying a "coin flip" is where both players are all in and each have a 50% chance of winning. ie. AK vs JJ
This was super-sick when I first saw it. Then a few years later it was revealed that Full Tilt was keeping the player's deposits for their own paychecks, and that they had handed 10 million dollars in loans to Phil Ivey (he would later repay only 4 mill of it and keep 6 mill). So in reality, while this looks like baller superstar winners having fun, Ivey is actually literally flipping with the Full Tilt Player's deposits, which were given to him by the site.
@@shaneboutilier That's not what I said, doofus. I said I wasn't dredging up info for his question on whose money they were flipping and what exactly Ivey knew or didn't know.
The old full tilt heads-up clips, I often see Phil Ivey winning these big pots. With no real strategy and look at the hands he shoved and called with and wins at the river. If there was no cheating going on, I wouldn’t believe it. Full Tilt was such a scam.
dude they are just doing flips, read the chatbox, they agree to put 100k in and run it. does make you wonder tho how much of ivey's +20mil full tilt graph was from this sorta thing lol
I'm pretty sure they dont deposit any money. That is a program, so no actual transaction has to occur for them to have chips in the program. You dont see them playing like this in the TV high stakes poker- even there some of them get staked, lool.
In retrospect this is awful. It not only completely screws up the idea of poker as a non-gambling game that should be allowed to be played online, these motherfuckers are flipping the deposit money that was stolen from Full Tilt players then distributed to the owners.
What was zigmunds bankroll after losing 500k here? this is unreal im surprised that this flip session wasnt career ending for him like bankroll back to 0
