Thank you both for this wonderful piece. I know Lynn in her interview with Phil said she is not reading anything at the moment, taking time off consuming that sort of material but since imposter syndrome is real for the two of you please find the book ''The imposter cure by Dr. Jessamy Hibberd'' when you get back to reading. Or if I can send it to your individual office addresses, I really will. Hopefully, the books do not get trashed.😇 My take home here is; If you work hard, diligently with integrity, and consistently, it pays off; you have to put in the hours. You have to have boundaries and choose partners that have the same vision and goals. Remember the mode of delivery varies from person to person but find out their thing and aid each other.

Wao this part on men growing up ... There is a whole book of rules on how men should behave... This has disturbed part of my life. I wrote something yesterday and threw it to my low blog ... 'From childhood, we’re taught that real men don’t cry; they’re impervious to emotional turbulence. Tears are for the weak, and vulnerability is like Kryptonite to our masculinity. So, we become emotional escapologists, contorting our feelings into a box marked “Do Not Open” and locking them away deep within the recesses of our souls. And why stop at just concealing emotions? Let’s throw in the age-old cliché - the stone-faced exterior. We’re expected to be unshakable, like Mount Everest. Life’s challenges may be as relentless as an avalanche, but we’ll stand tall and unyielding, never letting anyone see the quivers of uncertainty beneath the surface. Picture this: we walk into the bathroom, and there it is - the most terrifying creature known to humankind, a spider! But do we flinch? Oh no, not us! We put on our poker face, staring at that eight-legged monster like it’s just another day at the zoo. Internally, we’re debating whether to run for our lives or unleash the battle cry of a fearless warrior. Yet, on the outside, we remain as cool as an Arctic breeze. But let’s not forget the hilarious twist to this performance - our impeccable “Nothing bothers me” facade. We’ve perfected the art of subtle gestures and expressions that send the message, “I’m as calm as a cucumber in a Zen garden.” Even when faced with life’s curveballs, we’ve got this covered. It’s like a secret language of masculinity, where “I’m fine” translates to “Help, I’m drowning in an ocean of emotions!” And oh, the irony! While we’re busy mastering emotional gymnastics, we secretly envy the freedom others have to express themselves openly. We witness the emotional eruptions of our partners or friends and wonder what it’s like to set emotions free like colorful balloons dancing in the wind. Alas, we’re stuck in a paradoxical bubble, where letting go feels like betraying our “man card.” ...... You can read the whole article on my blog thedukerealtors.wordpress.com/2023/07/16/juggling-expectations-and-emotions-the-funny-side-of-being-a-man-in-love/
