The Boy is back in Town. Phil Lynott's statue was unvailed outside Bruxelle's Pub in Dublin, by his mother Philomena. It had been damaged a few months previously, and was restored today to its rightful place.
"I' m very happy to see this magnificent statue of the very late Phil Lynott who was the legendary bassist and singer of the legendary rock band Thin Lizzy"
We went to the first unveiling 2005,and the Gary moore and friends concert at the point theatre the night after. Went to philomenas House "whitehorses" too. 💕 I got to play Phils fender precision bass. A magical time indeed. God rest you Phyllis. You and you're boy together once again. X. ♥ 🎸 🌹 X
Thank you Philomena for raising such a rock legend that shared his gift with the world and enriched our lives fabulously. Mum and Son reunited once more so give him a head slap from me for leaving the world so soon. We cherish his legacy but would have liked to have seen his musical talent remain that little bit longer on earth too. Bless you.
I was lucky enough twice to have my hand stood on by two greats, Philo and Gary Moore, both at different gigs, might I say. Might I also say t'was a pleasure. RIP Lizzy family. You all played a part, you will all be remembered for ever. :)
People tend to have drug addictions because they grew up in an abusive environment. That tends to mean that the Mum was abusive, or at least tolerated their abusive husband.
