how on earth can someone defend this total rubbish behaviour?! It was literally disgusting. Cadbey was struggeling because of hot weather and when he was politally explaining to Phil, Phil started to mock him even worse. That incident with throwing towel and pretending from Taylor that he is wipping his ass with that towel should be unacceptable even when u r teenager not a legend of darts at age 57. Phil is just sore looser, its not for first or second time when he was behaving totally bad. Remeber final of WM 2016 vs. Van Gerwen when he was mocking him and swearing into crowd etc... @@jonjohnson1978. it wasn’t his motivation to win that decreased, it was his ability to win. He was used to being the best for so long and when he realised he wasn’t his head fell off.
And that was more often than not because in the end, he was losing a lot. And if he was 20 years younger, he probably would've been ambitious enough to improve. But being old, having won everything multiple times and not having to worry about financial stuff another day in his life, he simply started losing interest. Didn't stop him from reaching the final in the last PDC tournament though, which was pretty impressive.
@@dylangantrich8782 or perhaps he couldn’t handle the competition, he certainly contributed to players upping their game but he couldn’t win everything once they did as they were so much more competitive - if he were to begin his career now, he would not be so dominant as there is too much talent around, that’s just a fact

Huge game for the lad. He could have a nervous tick for all we know. Taylor was out of order taking the piss... if someone did that to him he'd be off moaning after it in the interview about how unprofessional they were and how it was ruining darts. Like he did several times!

@west ham boy Taylor might be the greatest, but mvg is the best. You have to consider that the generell level of all darts players has improved drasticly. If taylor would be 40 again and play at the current time he wouldnt win as much as back in the day.
Back in those days Taylor was still to take over the game. However, in 30 years in darts the worst he has ever done is..... Cos I really don't know of anything SO bad. It's all blown out of proportion.
Phil let himself down here big time. all is well in the darting world when he's winning but when he's not there's always something with him. He's retiring soon n won the match play n fair play to him he was excellent but have some dignity man n go out on a high. We don't want to remember Phil for being an embarrassment and that's what he is here. Respect to the young guy that beat him.

LMAO @PhilTaylor here he was funny on the oche And in a way was about to pack in his darts career here and didnt seem bothered although he had made his money by then admittedly and should have been more professional But Cadby is an annoying guy and probs is why Taylor acted like such lol . When you've achieved everything that Taylor had achieved , then it doesn't matter anymore. Who cares what he does on stage . No player will ever come near amount of tournaments/titles that Taylor has won . Fact still stands

Could u imagine gezza acting like that. He would get strung up and yet taor does and its all fun and games. Personally I feel sorry for cadby. He is playing the best guy to throw a dart at least on paper and doesn't even give him the professional curtesy he deserved. People would be mortified if that was being done the other way around. After all these years he just can't handle getting beat or not being the best. He is still good enough to win but knows with MVG around he won't sweep up like in the past. If MVG quit tomorrow, Taylor would be back again next year. His behaviour is also down to the fact people have been treating him like a God for the last 20 years and it has seriously gone to his head. Hungry for money and to be sucked up too. A truly horrible person with an extraordinary talent!
Some of what you said is true, although it is speculation alone that he is quitting because MVG is better. Taylor won the Matchplay at a canter, I wouldn't bet against him to win the worlds in December / January (although I wouldn't say he is my tip either). And MVG, apart from the Premier League and a few smaller events, he is not anywhere near cleaning up this year at all. I know you didn't say this, but I think all this stick he is getting is over the top. Darts will miss Taylor and very much so from 2018. Besides, he has for years lauded MVG as the new flag bearer for the sport and has made it clear that he sees him as the better player. PS As I made a prediction, the next worlds I think will go to Gary Anderson, partly because all the attention will be on Taylor's swansong. MVG is not half the player he was last year, Wright, RVB and Lewis don't quite have the consistency to take on an in-form Anderson... and Suljovic, much as I would love to be wrong, is not quite good enough. Ditto Wade, Chisnall, Klaasen and the likes of Corey Cadbury are not ready.
