Restored and retro fit this FGS103. It would not work! Eagle eyed views noticed i got the wires incorrect on the incoming power. an oversight on my behalf. Once a SOX lantern now sports a 24w PL-L Lamp

Hi Jaye, nice conversion to a 24 watt PL L lamp, I bet it throws some light. I do have a sox 35 watt version of this lamp. Great video, take care

just to point something out you dont have to undo them bolts to take the gear tray out, its the philips head screw on the left with the keyhole side.

FGS was never SOX it was always fluorescent. XGS is the SOX version.

There was some printing errors where XGS lanterns had been called FGS as LeoLamposts had one.
