Joanna discovered the Catholic Faith 2 years after she and Philip had a civil union.
Through her baptism, her faith leads her to seek to have their marriage validly recognized by the Church through a process known as convalidation.
For Philip and Joan, marriage then became so much more than a union based on a contract (an exchange of promises), but a covenant (a total giving of themselves to one another).
The Archdiocesan Commission for the Family (ACF) in Singapore runs a program called, The Couple Mentor Journey. The CMJ program is a parish-based program that integrates contemporary relationship psychology with Catholic theology, offering an effective and powerful experience for engaged couples and newly married couples.
