I felt guilty watching Alan pressuring Phillip to drink when he said he doesn't drink. And then I remember he does tasting or whatever it's called in his morning show.
@@shellboudxox rehearsals with all of the audience on the night? I think not. Having time to figure it out they should of known it wasn’t wise. Regardless my point still stands
It's because he's known to drink in his morning show. The audiences were aware of that fact too. I felt bad for it too when they pressured him to drink until I remember what Phillip does in his show. When the guests don't drink alcohol seriously, they (Alan & the audiences) don't pressure them to drink.
So easily offended. I'm sure you realize Phil was in on the joke from the beginning, and he prompted the joke further. Alan wouldn't pressure someone to drink who is a sober alcoholic on national TV. He does his homework, as does his staff. It would have repercussions for him, as well.
He probably didn’t, he just had the red top newspapers blackmailing him. And before you tell me that I couldn’t possibly know that, I was told it by the head of Reuters news agency on a cruise 9 years ago
