thank god, i was using him on md4 and he's a pain in the ass to use, everytime you will go into the ego state right before the fight ends and lose all your sp

Hmmm, from what i see. It seems like he is good at solo. His sp drain, as long as he keeps winning seems to be doing fine. In team, he is definitely able to deal good amount of aoe or nuke enemies at will if the condition are met. The burn team has met another fine addition to their team. (His wrath res is also really good too). Pretty much if you are able to snowball, he is going to be a menace to the enemy with the burn aoe attack and bigger coin as the burn stacks. His biggest issue is prob fighting enemy with that sp drain mechanic which can be a hassle to deal with. Edited: They buffed him because according to the comments, he is way too hard to use in a solo, and team (since he needs specific team to even able to go smoothly in the first place). Now he is a very good addition to wrath teams and burn team, and able to solo under the right circumstances. Any sp drain mechanic from enemy still screwed him over so, becareful lol.
Didn't huge SP regen in this video only from stage buff? Every turn he healed 15 SP only here. In real fight his EGO mode during only for 2 attacks, than he -5/-10 SP and you should crack your ass again to get 45 SP. His third skill in EGO absolutely broken, but you can even don't got it while your Phillip become low sanity punch bag
@@fatum8573 no, what i mean is the general sp from clash. He is doing alright with just that (5 sp per clash win is pretty good). Prob gonna take around...8 turn for it to drain to 0? More or less its enough time for you to do pretty much everything really. His damage is pretty decent, not superb or anything. But the coin power up for chaining wrath ress is also nice for an extra pack of punch and clash power
@@DumRandomIndo He starts at 10 san due to the -35 on EGO mode activation. From there he takes loses 5*Number of turns in EGO. Add to that he will lose at least 5 sp from every single skill use. 5 sp gain per clash is not enough to sustain him. If he's on a 6 man team then he's going to need help because turn 1 he will lose at least 10 sp, turn 2 at least 15 sp and so forth. You're definitely going to want to sp boost him to let him stay in this mode because if you leave him alone he's going to be losing sp from turn 2 of EGO onward. It's less of an issue in MD as once you get to the lower levels the kills will also provide sp to the party. Some options like Base Yi and Base Hong will help giving a combined 16 sp per turn off passives. Which allow Philclair to keep gaining sp (assuming he wins clashes) till turn 5 of his EGO garaunteeing Philclair reaches at least 44 sp if he wins all his clashes (likely more as most clashes won't be single coins). That's probably the best general option to support him, but will mean you're forced to bench the two.
@@theresnothinghere1745 hmmm, now you say that, that is some insight i didnt know. My first impression of him, ignoring any other sp gain passive is still decent. His skill, is well suited and not bad on the roll. If compared to nclair (yes, again this guy keeps coming back again and again), philclair def need to snowball early to go full power, unlike the other id where he goes full power at the start. Now knowing he does need some help to reach the peak performance, should you actually able to hit it, its pretty smooth sailing from there. Im by no mean is good at this game considering im literally spamming nclair and rabbit heath to win. But considering the pay off from this id is (for the average scenario in ego form, i assume around 3 to 5 turn) 1. Fire aoe (very cool) 2. clash +1 in the very least (from passive) during ego state 3.more fire=more power (coin and clash power gained from burn potency and burn count on certain skill) So, if we take this guy for some solo, say he gets 10 per turn, and there is no sp drain on the enemy, he should be able to get to ego at the very least in around 6 turn. And after that you get on average 4 turn to go crazy (the first 45 sp you gain 3 coin power, and decrease over time) Also i like to note that now i have read the wiki article, he has another passive the volatile passion, and thats also contributing on the sp drain. So assumming that he has the same normal set up with no passive sp gain, he could stay in ego after reaching in for around 5 turn, in the best case scenario. Though it seems like that the drain for his sp, especially with volatile seemed to be minus 10+1×turn (2 attack, turn since ego active) So with your set up of 2 passive gain, max of 5 unit, and atleast 3 wrath on team, he should go on ego around turn 4 and can stay in ego for around 8 turns before the toll from volatile become too heavy (assuming outside dungeon)
I never got Philipclair because I stopped playing right as the event started out of boredom, so if this is him pre-buff, I'm scared of how powerful he is now...
He actually doesn't seem to roll too high. He is definitely one of the ids that you shall never level up to max. That 1 offence lvl is not worth not getting sp after killing. Like at all. 15 on a skill 2 is actually not too high.
he gets coin power if you chain 3 wrath skills, as you can see in 3:33 he was about to roll 18 if he hit the last coin heads with skill 2, rolls 22 at 3:39 and 24 on 3:46. I also saw him roll 24 on his skill 1 while doing md4
He is not bad but dissapointing, Let me explain, in this walpurgis event we get 10 sp recovered per turn, right, well philclair loses 15-30 or EVEN 45 SP PER TURN IF HE USES HIS S3 ON EGO FORM You can already Guess how bad this is without the sp buffs and how bad this would be without sp ego gifts or passives
It's Also the easiest walpurgis event in the game AND yeah, it's the second one with a battle because the first walpurgis just didn't have one, honestly i feel like second walpurgis was significantly harder than this, mostly because it's not an adversitment for LoR Nintendo release
@@HeWhoWatched Well, with the buffs, keeping his sanity up is hardly a concern, since you just need to own 5 Wrath resource, and now gets 15 SP on ANY kill
Not anymore actually, they are planing and update for him next week so is gonna be just 5 OWNED wrath resources insted of resonance, and make him more sanity friendly in team composition
