you can see the horse seeking contact in a relaxed natural frame, it is absolutely wonderful. and the poll is actually the highest part of the horse! that's so rare in a lot of modern dressage

So schön locker und entspannt....Beneidenswert! He rides his horse so easy an relaxed. It´s amazing. He should give lessons to the modern dressage riders ;-)

That is a very elastic, vey clearly four-beat walk! Wish I could see more of that in the dressage ring.

Where is this? Did anyone notice that there isn't any over flexed horses nor people who are frantically spurring their horses because they didn't work their horses at home? Is this is heaven or a horse show?

Why don't we see riding like this in Australia?

Der Grundgedanke seiner Reitweise ist sehr lobenswert, doch die Umsetzung weist einige Probleme auf. Zum einen reitet Hr. Karl fast die ganze Zeit im Stuhlsitz, was zu einer ungleichmäßigen Belastung des Rückens und der Gelenke führt. Zum Anderen hat er eine sehr unruhige Hand und gibt dadurch andauernd ungewollte Signale. Auch trägt das Pferd den Kopf, selbst für seine Rasse etwas zu hoch und die Bewegungen sind teilweise sehr abgehackt und nicht fließend. Alles in allem muss ich sagen, dass mir die Idee des Reitens ohne viel Handkontakt sehr gefällt, die Umsetzung jedoch nicht so gut ist. The basic idea of his Riding is very commendable, but the implementation has some problems. First Hr. Karl Riding almost the entire time in the chair seat, which leads an uneven load on the back and joints. On the other hand, he has a very restless hand and constantly gives unwanted signals. Also, the horse carries the head, even for his race a little too high and the movements are sometimes very choppy and not flowing. Je regrette que ce genre de démonstration puisse tromper les néophytes, juste deux observations, le cheval est inapte dans cette attitude à varier son allure, il est complètement à plat, et il ne sait même plus marcher correctement. C'est un massacre...
